CF Event Pass Exploit Issue Resolved – Actions Taken & Compensation

Currently, what should I do? i only have this account, and I do not play any other game because my computer capabilities are very weak. Now I have been banned, in addition to the broken servers and many errors and things that you have not fixed yet. Thank you very much for your support for the player.
-
Dear Crossfire team. I've been playing this game for 13 years. I have never cheated in all that time and now you're banning me for 15 days for a mistake on your part? I also paid for extra levels and now I currently have 150,000 zp in my account which you are blocking. You deleted the things I acquired during the error, which is right, but to block the account is impertinent. now I will also lose the last part of the anniversary vip AK 47 stelar scale, which I dialed up and spent many hours playing the game for this event. I think it's time to reconsider this game.If you had given a warning as soon as the error occurred that people who used it would get banned, normal players wouldn't have done it. But there was no warning from your side. Thanks for reading and any feedback.

I paid 70$ to get 100 gold token during this event and now I'm banned, unable to spend the tokens I paid for? I have in total spend many hundred $ in the period of a year. Are you trying to hush off the whales that basically carry the game and pay your salary? I will definitely not be a whale anymore if the unjustified bans aren't lifted.
Reading all the previous comments in this thread, It has permanently damaged the reputation of CF for the worse. -
Why do you ban people because of a technical issue that is within your jurisdiction? This is your fault, not mine. You are supposed to hold your work team accountable. If you wanna take an action take it aganist your developers and people who run this game for not giving a damn care about it.A non-existed anticheat, amount of people complain about cheaters in ranked and server issues and they ended up muted in discord by Kanadian or banned. what's the point of the discord server then? You made us waste our time for doing the 16th ribbon and the spin.Have you put in your consideration that people might quite the game and sell their accounts after this stupid decision?Did you put in your consideration about players who compete in CFWL or CFOL and how top teams like ROC and GG and unK might be harmed because main players are banned because of a game issue?Legit doesn't make sens at all to ban players for a game issue. Like if you even have the ability to ban players for using a bug which is out of our hands then u have an ability to ban cheaters in ranked and afford better servers. in all cases Banning is not even an option. you should have took an action during the bug not after 2 weeks and half. At least remove all stuffs from storage and reset to lvl 100 for people who bought it premium. And that fat GM kanadian guy doesn't discuss anything with us in discord server and ended muting or banning people from discord server. idk what's the point of discrod server if we can't complain about our problems while playing this dead game.

To the Administrators and Management of Crossfire West,
We, the undersigned players and financial supporters of z8games, formally address the severe injustice and potential fraudulent practices committed against the player base following the recent rollback and item deletion. While we acknowledge that a bug was exploited by some players, the resolution implemented by the administration has resulted in unlawful financial losses for a vast number of paying customers.
Violation of Consumer Rights and Potential Fraud
Under North American consumer protection laws, particularly under the Federal Trade Commission Act (15 U.S.C. § 41 et seq.), businesses are prohibited from engaging in unfair or deceptive acts that harm consumers. Removing purchased content without refunding players constitutes an unlawful practice. Additionally:
Players purchased Battle Passes and in-game currency (ZP) using real money, expecting access to specific rewards.
The rollback not only removed items obtained through exploitation but also eliminated legitimately acquired permanent items and access to the Battle Pass, which players legally purchased.
Players who made financial transactions for in-game currency have not been refunded, despite their paid content being removed without justification.
These actions can be classified as a breach of contract, deceptive trade practices, and even potential fraud under laws such as:
The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, which protects consumers from deceptive warranties and product offerings.
Unfair and Deceptive Acts and Practices (UDAP) statutes, enforced at both federal and state levels.
Common Law Fraud, which occurs when a business induces purchases under false pretenses, only to revoke paid access without just compensation.
Demand for Immediate Resolution
To rectify this situation and avoid further legal repercussions, we demand:
Full restoration of Battle Pass access to all players who purchased it, regardless of the rollback.
Refunds for any removed ZP or Battle Pass purchases to all affected players.
Transparency from the administration regarding how compensation will be handled for legitimate players impacted by the rollback.
Failure to address these demands in a timely manner may lead affected players to take the following actions:
Filing official complaints with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) for unfair consumer practices.
Initiating chargebacks through financial institutions to recover lost funds due to digital fraud.
Pursuing collective legal action if necessary, for deceptive business practices and the violation of consumer protection laws.
We urge you to take immediate steps to resolve this matter in good faith. The gaming community should not be penalized for the company's failure to address exploits proactively, nor should honest players suffer financial losses due to the negligence of game management.
This message serves as an official grievance from the player base, and we expect a prompt and just response.

Is the team willing to negotiate some alternatives?
I don't know - postponing cooldowns and such?
Have people buy certain amount of levels in order to shorten the cooldown/remove it - having removed items on temporary hold.
Most people counted on stuff being rolled back (standard in the industry) and in the end there was no real harm done - on the contrary you could argue game got hyped a bit and your sales went up, especially Pass sales.
After rollback people would buy levels regardless - certainly not to such heights but still.
Given previous bugs went on without actions against players' accounts this kind of feels like an overkill. If we are talking about garnet or coupon issues I don't remember anyone getting banned for it -

hello staff crossfire i'm 23 in ranked and old players in crossfire play it 2009 i get a banned 9 days and i dont make anything what is that guys !!
ok, basically the game has been full of bugs for a long time
Coupon bugs - ZM cards bugs - Glitch bugs - Fly bugs and other calamities and problems. Well, the question here is, is this the player's responsibility? Of course not, it's a developer's mistake, and therefore the player is not responsible for programming errors within the game (this is legal in most games, of course). But as for Crossfire, they tell you, "We know that there is a bug and we left it open for a whole day," and at the end of the day they come and tell you that whoever made the bug, we will take action against him. Well, as someone who opens, makes RJ, and plays ranked, I normally make the bug without realizing it, so how can you take action against me when I literally did nothing?
POISON
Do you really want this game to be better? You have to modify the game system. The game is full of hacks.
i want unbanned me please , i'm join a tournament in cpl and gbarena and open elite i dont make anything wrong !
make a sure guys if you check the system's everydays like old days and banned everyone play cheating or play with cheating and check system's game for glitch and bug , this game will be good and back everyone to play again cf
All I want is to be unbanned as soon as possible, with your permission, I have a contest. If I have any weapon from this season, remove it. I don't care. I'm a big man and I have my work. This is a game. My work is to participate in contests and win. This is not my job. This is a game problem. The team's problem is not my problem. If I knew that any user who did this would be banned, I would have reported the problem from the first day. But my report is pointless. Do you know why the game is full of hacks? -
Banned for 93 days? Lmao i'd like to know who that is and how many levels he got.
That's pretty interesting that you decided to ban such accounts at all cuz i guess anyone who got banned was banned for gaining a lot of levels.
Since it's only 2 weeks left, i guess almost all of them were Premium Enjoyers. And you not only took the weapons back (which they paid for) but left them without opportunity to get it back fair way. Strange decision.
How about to fix network errors which are on your side (1072, etc)?
(i'm just curious since i didnt take advantage of that bug) -

These errors in the game are caused by the developers, not the players. Currently, all the players have been banned, and there is a small category in the servers. Do you want the ethics of the game or what? You took all the weapons, including the an94, for which we currently charged a pass. We have endured this game with errors and hacks, and then you banned us from the game. Thank you for this bad treatment. The ban has not been lifted. Within three days, we will delete it permanently.

"I tried to steal candy from the store, and the store told me I can't come back for 30 days. Bad store.""Oh, I see! So, let me get this straight—your store sold candy, took the money, and then snatched it back without giving a refund. And now, when people complain, your response is ‘bad store’?
Yeah, totally normal business practice. I’m sure Amazon, Apple, or literally any other company would also just steal paid content and call their customers thieves for complaining. Absolutely genius.
Maybe next time, instead of fixing a bug before players spend money, you should just set up a ‘Donate to Admins’ button and cut out the middleman."
Your analogy is completely flawed. What actually happened is:
- The store sold candy to paying customers.
- The store made a mistake in handling its inventory.
- Instead of fixing its mistake, the store took back all candy, including from those who legitimately paid for it.
- The store kept the money, refused to refund or compensate customers, and banned them from shopping there.
This is not theft—this is fraud.
Players paid real money for Battle Passes and ZP, expecting fair access to in-game content. Your rollback did not just remove items obtained through the bug—it also wiped out legitimate purchases and progress, all while keeping the money. On top of that, you banned players for exploiting a bug that was your own mistake.

Kind of amazing when people talk about how the problem wasn't the player exploiting a bug massively, but the developer. If you exploit game bugs, you have to expect to be punished for it. A game bug is something that is not intended by the developer.I think the penalties are justified accordingly. Thanks for the support
-
I would like to share my candid opinion regarding today's decision to ban certain players who exploited the system. This decision raises concerns about the game's future. Are you actively jeopardizing its longevity? While I have not enjoyed the game since 2017, it remains the sole content I upload to my channel periodically. Now, due to this situation, I am forced to pause for eight days before resuming uploads.Your thoughts on this approach?

You took all the weapons, including the an94, for which we currently charged a pass.
Bug cf pass it's a technical issue that is within your jurisdiction, This is not my fault.
In this way, we will miss out events that are currently available, including: AK VIP
You can take weapons from acc,but due to the ban, We can't compensate this event during this period.
This isn't fair ..
Weird that your sistem aloud all the hak/macro/cheaters in SD ranked and now you guys treat players like this! Players that invested thousands off dollars in this game just look at the most players you banned for an technical issue.
I ask you to review this decision by remove ban return the honorable soldier and give the players at least the original prizes.
If there is no possibility to get back online in my game to get my honorable soldier and finish anniversary 16 event and get my rewards from pass I already purchased from day 1 I will consider to walk away from this game it is not fair to be treated like this for a technical issues of the game.
Thank you. -
If the mistake is yours, why do we bear the consequences of your mistake? Do you want us to leave the game altogether? Why do we pay and buy in a game that we do not trust? You are creating distrust between us and you.
I will encourage all my friends to leave the game and even those who play, I will encourage them not to charge one dollar again in this game. The game that causes technical problems and makes us bear its problems is not trustworthy.
