would this card work well for crossfire?
http://www.amazon.com/XFX-Radeon-HD5450-PCI-Express-HD545XCDH2/dp/B005IHTEGG/ref=sr_1_10?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1345738901&sr=1-10&keywords=sapphire+radeon+hd+5450
what kind of fps would i get.
bad card, it is gonna get choppy in a full room if u dont have a good processor.
if u use an old pc, upgrade to a better cpu first like AMD x4 which is pretty cheap.
dont waste ur money. get a HD6950 or 560Ti for around 150. -

Thanks.

with i5 fps 200+ but
why on earth would u buy a 300 dollars motherboard?
u can get a mobo for 150 dollars, or cheaper with combo deals:
http://www.newegg.com/Store/ComboDeals.aspx?ComboStoreID=1&name=CPUs-Motherboards
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/category/category_tlc.asp?CatId=14&name=Motherboard%20Bundles
u only need 600 dollars for a good gaming rig for CF. -
I don't know much about computers, i'm not really going to play only CF, this computer will be for entertainment/gaming. not hardcore gaming, like a gamer like crossfire but higher graphics (Example Crysis 2 on default settings)why on earth would u buy a 300 dollars motherboard?

get an Asus for around 150 or a combo deal with i5 instead of a 300 motherboard--total overkill.
save the money and get a SSD, everything will be faster. -

Processor issues.
I've had my computer roughly a year now it worked fine for months,But for the past few months I've been getting mousebugs. I have tried 2-3 mouses, I have tried different USB ports, I've reinstalled multiple times, I've cleaned my computer the best I can I've also ran McAfee scans. Now its just getting worse its also making my ping spike from 50 to 100-300, Making my fps drop from 150-200 to 10-30 at random times.. I checked in my task manager and my CPU says 100% when I am running crossfire, I think that is a bit too much it never used to be that high. I am just curious is my processor dying? Or is there something else wrong? My processor spec is AMD Athlon(tm) II X2 240 Processor 2.80 GHz
I have also tried lowering the priority/affinity in task manager and I have restarted and unplugged my router a few times, I have 100 MB speed.
If anyone has any suggestions or solutions it would be really appreciated,Thanks. -

yesHow well would this setup handle CF?
Processor: AMD A10 Series A10-4600M
Core: 4
Speed: 2.3 ghz
Hard Drive: 1 TB

could be ur system is getting old. or some virus. try scan it with ad-aware.
or try a fresh re-install of windows.
upgrade to a new cpu later. -
yes
not the best
get an Intel i5
Hey,
Would this setup be better then? How much FPS do you think I would get:
Processor: Intel Core i5-3210M
Speed: 2.5ghz
Hard drive 750gb
speed 5400rpm
Ram: 8gb
Type: DDR3 SDRAM
Graphics: AMD Radeon HD 7670M (2gb dedicated) -

120 fps maybe -
ok so this is what ive settled on atm, can someone tell me if this would handle cf with a steady 60+ fps on minimal settings in a full room?
AMD Athlon II X2 250 Processor
Sapphire AMD Radeon HD 6850 1GB PCI-E Video Card
Corsair Memory Vengeance 8GB Dual Channel Kit DDR3 1600 MHz 2x4GB
GIGABYTE AM3+ NVIDIA GeForce 7025/nForce 630a Chipset DDR3 1600 GA-M68MT-S2
Windows 7 Home Premium
i am mainly just going to play crossfire on this computer so i dont need a ridiculous setup but would this run crossfire with 60+ fps with the athlon x2?
or should i go with a AMD phenom x4 965? -

Go for the Phenom II series, it performs way better than the athlon ones, and they do not fry after 2 years of use.
I'd go for an intel build tough. -

AMD X4 965 is a good value. costs like 100 dollars.
CF and CS are CPU dependent games meaning a graphics card doesnt make a lot of difference.
If you get an i5 it will give you 200fps. -
What laptop should i buy?
This:

I'm not a gamer guy, i only play CF and Ragnarok Online (once a month?)
With my last Gateway laptop with AMD Athlon II M300 got around 70-100 fps (i was happy with that before my lap got destroyed).
I love to watch movies/clips on HD. 4gb of ram are good for me, i don't run heavy programs.
I find better the keyboard and design of the first laptop. I don't care about the difference of prices between the two laptops (30 USD not much).
I know the performance is a lot high from intel i5-2430M than the AMD A6-4400M, but i don't know about AMD Radeon HD 7520G graphics and Intel® HD Graphics 3000. ¿there is a significant difference? -

get the 2nd one.
not much a difference performance wise. 2nd has more ram and hd space.
