Reflection Time!
Well, reading through this thread was a lot of fun (and dissapointment too). So this is my personal opinion so far (Don't ban me just yet):
1.- Congrats to 2nd and 3rd place (tho I don't dig either). The m14 is boring and plane and the deag is ok, I just dont like flags on my guns.
2.- 1st place is VERY similar to the CSGO AWP ASIIMOV, I already made fun of it. (I'm not saying its a copy 'cause I'm afraid I get banned from having a truthful opinion, so "ITS NOT A COPY") Not cool that that guy won having so many other cool design that a really nice and ORIGINAL, but there's no point on complaining about it anymore.
3.- CamelSoldier's AK Warrior is sick! I would totally want THAT gun! Definitely should participate again on this kind of contests! CamoneMystic's skins are awesome too!
4.- So if someone participates in future events like this one and posts a design "based" from somewhere else, he/she will get permanently banned. That's taking things a little too far don't you think? I mean, even if he/she deliberately copies a design and enters the contest, its enough to say "Hey, your design is way too similar to X or Y design from X or Y. Modify it or you will be disqualified." Why do you have to go immediately "BANNED! YOU HAD IT COMING!"? That's where 'inspiration' plays its rightful part. I think GM's are OVEReacting, which doesn't really make sense since 1st place winner design is VERY similar to the CSGO AWP ASIIMOV (Yes, I copy-pasted). "This guy won, but if anyone tries to win like he did, you'll get BANNED you heard?!" Thats what that sentence sounds to me.
5.- Going around the forum waving the ban hammer near anyone who posts their opinion is not cool. A forum is supossed to be a place where different opinions can meet and discuss. Saying "They robbed you" is not ok either, thats a no-no in any contest and its a disrespect to the judges and all the GM's who played a part of it.
Aghhh that's about it, that is my opinion on this thread. hope you read this and you reflect on it. Or just forget it all and move on with your life :P

Regarding point 2: We have noticed that it appears similar, but it is not similar enough to be a copy of the weapon you're referring to. It was reviewed thoroughly, believe me.
Regarding point 4: There were designs submitted (I won't give a number but lets just say it wasn't an isolated incident) that were direct copies that they tried to pass off as their own. And then even when questioned about it, they still claimed it was their own. This is plagiarism, and not only should it not be tolerated, but it can also get us into a lot of legal trouble if something slips by unnoticed and gets put into the game.
Regarding point 5: We have not been waving our ban hammer at anyone with an opinion. I have openly stated that opinions will not be removed and that you are all entitled to weigh in on it. That being said, (as I have said before) you still must remain within the rules set out on the forum. If you break those rules, you will get an infraction that, yes, can lead to a ban.

To the winners I really like the M14 and that Sniper really good looking skin... And still wanna know if the winner got em already... Yes these winners will really receive their prize. Keep in mind that it takes time to develop the weapons and get them into the game, as well as testing to make sure nothing is broken. Its not just a button we press. -

I can understand the weapons delay, Dev's got to make it and check if it works ect.. but then explain why my friend NIGHTWOLF_UA who won has yet not received his $500 Dollar winnings at least? At this day and age it's easy to do a quick transaction or cheque, why has it taken forever for that? This long wait can discourage/worry players dearly..
You guys are seriously funny.. and YES, has sent in many Support Tickets for an update on the situation, but futile results.
If there was any decency Z8 would have paid 100k ZP by now and also the 500 Dollars. -

Dont get me wrong I also want the prizes to be delivered asap but I think they're simply waiting for the weaposn to be implemented first (ingame and patch) and then reward the prizes too you know,deliver everything at once not 2 or 3 times. -

If Nightwolf has any issue, Nightwolf is more than welcome to send us a ticket and we will discuss any delays with Nightwolf. You are not Nightwolf. You are Tuga. Someone who I will note seems to find any reason to complain.
