We have requested the PSD file from you where you created a weapon of yours, you failed to submit it.
As I mentioned, consider this is as a final warning for accusations that have no basis! -

Don't think Jbird was insinuating that you guys "stole" our designs" he is just saying that the winners that were selected seem to be lacking originality compared to others. -

If not supplying the PS files is what kept me from winning I would be ticked of for sure. lol

Also asked if there was anything else I could do to show proof, which you guys blatantly ignored and didn't responded to. Tickets still open also. If it was written in the first place that I would have to send design files I wouldn't have flattened the image. So someone is allowed to copy a design from another FPS game and that is deemed as fine?...... Really tho.....Just really....That guy who created the awm skin does not deserve anything. You were suppose to be creative.. Not knock off a design from something else.. -
I know that it is too late but I just uploaded my PSD files to you so you know that I put in work on my designs and didn't just copy from somewhere else and lied about it.
I just take a lot of pride in my work and I don't want anyone thinking that I was copying, half-assing, or whatever. I may not have won the contest but I did gain some valuable "hours-clocked" using PS to help hone my skills.

I think it's easy to say that there were better designs just from what was posted on the original thread not to mention the ones that went around facebook, etc. I guess the big problem with all these events are that you all leave the criteria and whatnot vague af.

Ok don't believe someone that actively tried to give you what you wanted and sent in the OP files as his submission, but accept a blatant copy of a skin from another game? Nice. -
Let me explain one thing for the last time!
All weapons were verified to be original designs, just because they are similar in design concept to another gun in a different game doesn't mean it is a "copy".
Verification was done by requesting original PSd files from the top 10 users, if you failed to provide the original file, then we couldn't verify that you designed the weapon, period.
Also, if you think your or other weapons designs were better, then that is your opinion. You are entitled to your opinion, we are entitled to ours. When you get to have your own game, you can choose any weapon you like.
Finally, we selected 3 weapons out of many submissions. This doesn't mean that your submission is not good, it only means that due to our development schedule and consideration it wasn't selected. However, we have convinced the developers to accept 3 weapons instead of 1, and as the event was successful it will happen again. -

Doing it on purpose (if proved) = you will not win, you won't have work files to submit, and will get banned.In the future, submissions to events like this one which are stolen from elsewhere will result in a permanent ban. -

Did you ban me Ripyourflesh from the forum? If so why? Kind of crappy to ban someone and not give an explanation. I wasn't complaining just wanting you guys to know that I actually put work in on my designs and that I was taking the contest seriously. You guys must be really young to have such issues in controlling your emotions.

You are right. If your stance can't handle a challenge then you're wrong. If you can't handle a challenge then you're weak. Idk I saw a lot of great submissions and it feels like a kick in the teeth that an "original" one that is extremely similar to a popular CS:GO skin would be allowed to win. At this point though I understand that its too late to go back a retract the winning submissions, but if no one says anything then it'll just happen again. Either that or they really don't care and I will win next year with a CS:GO remake. -
Choosing a weapon depending on it's originality, design, and suitability is more complicated than you may understand. Our selection process was meticulous, and like I said in the OP, there were many great designs.
Just because a skin was more intricate/colourful/etc. doesn't mean that it was "better" for the game. The skin's suitability for the game itself and the way it will appear in-game, as well as how it will be developed, have to be taken into account by many people. And unfortunately, none of you could possibly know what goes into those considerations.
By the way, in case you missed it: In the future, submissions to events like this one which are stolen from elsewhere will result in a permanent ban.
So, while there were many great submissions, please stop arguing and congratulate our winners. Better luck next time, and thank you to everyone who participated. I personally enjoyed seeing all of the submissions.

I can't have an opinion? This isn't a dictatorship. GMS aren't the end all be all with the right answer. They're as fleshy as me and you. People just don't know what a forum is for. -

Also we as players/consumers provide the GMs their paychecks. Remember Crossfire is still a product. And like all products, their success or failure relies on their consumers.
