Agreed. However, there has been an update! The patcher actually loaded to my suprise! So, my first thought was "YAY! I can play again!". However, after I hit start I still received the "failed to connect to server". At least something is loading now. This information might help speed up this issue a little. -
This is some fabulous support to an ongoing issue. So many people have not been able to play since your December Update and you still have NOTHING to say. You have made NO fixes for the issue.
It is truly pathetic. I was considering buying some points since I hadn't bought any in years and this little episode has convinced me your company is not worth it. Two weeks and there has been ZERO effort on your part to resolve this issue. -
It's clear z8 only want's money
It's simply clear that Z8games only wants money from their members at this point. It's been over a damn month since this failed to connect to server crap started and they have yet to do a update and they have yet to respond to anything. Z8games is just a scam now. I'm sick and tired of not being able to play a game that i put over 3 grand on and i'm tired of **** staff members not responding. Z8games get your **** together your horrible. -

By telling them your IP .. it helps them in fixing the isuss for you!
And they are [GM]s .. they can know your IP easly !
a problem faced me .. after sent ticket with these info .. it fixed .

I am also having issues connecting:
- error message: The same "Failed to connect to server" window over the log in
- location: Alabama/USA
- IPS (internet provider): AT&T
- operation system: Windows 7 64bit
- channels you cannot connect to: Can't log in
- channels you are able to connect to: Can't log in
EDIT: Here are things I've tried so far to fix the issue:
Reinstalling (4x)
Deleting CF folder and then reinstalling (3x)
Opening ports through my router
Turning off firewall
Restarting PC
Restarting Router
Running launcher as admin
Running patcher as admin
Setting all .exe files associated with CF to run as admin
Setting files to run in compatibility mode for Windows XP and then for Windows Vista
Scanning for viruses
Deleting CF folder in my documents -

reinstalled many times, even changed ip, still doesn't work
the difference is

I can't even log in, says straight "FAILED TO CONNECT TO SERVER"
I tried everything, the only way I could play was going to someone else's house. I would like to play again in my house.
PS: It is not my PC because I also have a laptop, and I'm having the issue in both. I took my laptop to someone's house and I could play Perfectly Well. -

Hello everyone,
Some of you reported that the connection issues were fixed, but some of you still cannot connect to specific servers or cannot login at all. As stated before we reported the issues to the server center but some connection issues are still under investigation.
I'm here to gather as much information as possible so the issue can be fixed for everyone.
Please update your open tickets no matter if answered or not (just avoid opening new tickets if you can update your initial request).
- Do you still experience the reported issue, or is it resolved in the mean time?
- If you still experience the issue, which trouble shooting steps did you perform so far?
- For further troubleshooting please try to login CrossFire from a different IP address, for example from a friend’s house, and let us know if you have the same connection issues.
- If so, please note the IP address so we can report the issue further.
You don't need to post your information in the forum.
