Collection thread - ongoing connection issues after December update

Hello all,

First of all my apologies if I don't answer all the threads opened regarding the failed to connect issues. In order to investigate the cause, we need your help to find any pattern.

EDIT: Currently, we found an issue summed up for players who cannot login at all in the game and get following errors:
- "Failed to connect to server"
- "The server you are trying to join is currently full. Please try later." (Before actually getting to the server selection)
- "Failed to connect to server : W[2003] L[0]"

If you have one of those errors, please try to restart your router/modem. Try retrieve a new IP address if you can.

Other players cannot connect to certain servers. Those players seem to get stuck for certain servers at step 2 and get following error:
- "MM Server Connection Failed"

Most common are NA1, UK1 and UK4, but other servers are reported too.

If you receive this error, we recommend as well to try to restart your router/modem. Try retrieve a new IP address if you can.

If this doesn't solve the issue, we would like you to contact you provider, if our game servers get block by your IPS. Your Internet provider technical service can help you check the connection.


Update 01/22/2015 12:30 pm EST: Please check if the connection issues are solved for you. Additional, if friends of you had website issues, please ask them to use the pages they had issues with. Thank you!

If you have currently issues connecting to the game and getting failed to connect of server full errors, or if you cannot connect to specific channels, please send a ticket to support send following information:
- error message (screenshot)
- location: (city/state/country)
- IPS (internet provider):
- IP address:
- operation system: (Windows version)
- channels you cannot connect to:
- channels you are able to connect to:

EDIT: For further troubleshooting please try to login CrossFire from a different IP address, for example from a friend’s house, and let us know if you have the same connection issues.
If so, please note the IP address so we can report the issue further.
