Why did not you tell us before to obtain the ban
Z8Games didn't issue the bans, and xtrap update to detect cheats issued the ban. Some Windows XP users were affected due to something with Internet Explorer and Language packs. They won't ban players for using XP, they are just put a note up saying Anyone who continues to use WinXP after this issue if an new issue arises in the future that Z8Games may not help you due to WinXP not being supported anymore. Which i understand and would have to agree myself even tho i am currently a XP user myself. -

yes. z8 wont ban if you use win xp or what else. just dont use illegal programs. -

It isn't their ntdll.dll file, its crossfire not allowing them to play due to the file. You can't delete/move it due to it being a windows file. Support will have to look into it and find a fix for you vista users -

All "Windows-es" should be allowed without any problems.
If you would like to get this "in their mind" either send a complain ticket or IF you know a MOD who might help you and deliver this message to the "update department" ask him/her to help. -

yes but i do believe each ntdll.dll is different for each kind of vista. some players also upgraded from xp to vista not including all the illegal versions of win vista online :d -

I don't run Vista. But if that was the case how come some XP users were banned and some XP users were not banned and still able to connect and play. Each version is different some how some way.

I believe an illegal version of ANY windows well get you banned. -
That was caused by i believe sp3, service pack 3, not the version itself. You were not the only one.

Many were banned and there were people who used SP3 and had no problems with crossfire even it took support team a few tries to find it cause theirs kept being able to play crossfire. But the vista issue i would say its xtrap causing it or crossfire i don't honestly know vista users will have to go to support or wait for replies from GM's (Game Masters or Super Mods) to post the issue and to get it fixed. -

Just an advice, get windows 7.

Have 2 windows 7 discs right beside me, the problem with that is my computer specs suck to much to prob handle win7 and cf at the same time. I am planning on getting a win 7 or win 8 computer over this summer haven't made my mind up on which yet since i see problems for both of them on CF+LoL. I have 2.4 ghz single core processor 2gb ram and ATI Radeon HD 2400 XT 512mb graphics card
. If i had a dual core i would prob consider changing to win7 right now but with this setup i can't

If you were charge backed before i am guessing we do.. Mine expires at 12:30 tonight, around the time i mostly get on to play with clan mates anyways although i been up all day waiting just to see if support ticket would get answered or if anything else would be posted... -

Yeah I don't know when mine will expire but I believe it will be during the weekend which I won't be able to play until Monday. -

if it was winxp you would of got a hack tool detected soon as you tried logging in to alpha server or channel. That account looks like it has been banned before since it was banned for 7 days which saidin stated accounts that have been banned in the past will not be unbanned due to this error. Don't know how that is even possible if they didn't cheat but that is the rules i guess. -
I have the same with my account i had a block before and i lost my honorable soldier ribbon but that was a year ago i was afraid to get that perm bann so i played cf alot of time and spending alot of money without any more hack and then i get the perm block without any hacker just log in .... Really Un Fair i play this game since 2011 Ign : waterwind ... i cant make another account like this one its really un fair(((
OK, my Brother got blocked for 7 days when i was sitting next to him after he just installed a (legit) copy of windows Xp. and all he did was just log in... and
so NOw you are saying that he will not get unban because Xtrap thinks he is hack beacause he is using windows xp?.
he lost his honnor ribbon about a year ago. i think this isn't fair because he plays legit.

In all fairness though many would expect a hacker to be perma banned so you had a good run... -

Why in the world would you spend money on an account that you clearly acknowledge that you broke the TOS with when you knew the penalty was to be banned? I just shake my head in disbelief is all I can say with a smirk. Karma. That's what you get when you cheat. And cheat then get caught and think you should spend money on the account afterwards? WOW! :eek:

Some people don't expect a ban due to windows xp, don't know if he was still cheating or not isn't my place to judge him. If he was cheating and banned for it this time then good.
