try disabling your firewall for a sec until the window opens

so all you have to do is..
before running crossfire..
disable the real time scanning..
then ones the crossfire opens..
turn it on again..
i do this all the time now and it works

Still dont working,i switch off my antivirus and firewall and start crossfire but it still do working

no, I didnt, I reinstalled, with deleting all folders too...

1. check that antyvir or system barrier don't block the game!
2.if you have Windows Xp Service Pack 3, you should uninstall Service Pack 3 and Internet Explorer 8 to default version. now reboot computer and install Service Pack 3, again reboot computer. Install Crossfire, but do not update/upgrade Internet Explorer, to more late or latest version!!!

I dunno it's is full correct path for Vista but "ie8/spuninst/spuninst.exe" suppose be good

. After i click the Start game tab the X-Fire and HGW game watcher comes up then the screen with the mutation char pops up, then all the sudden an X-Fire error comes up and it says "CODE_FIELD" [02-0400-00000000-530]
Some functions of the operating system are not working properly due to external programs.Please,close any program which is affecting game client.... I have tryed to do this but still it doesn't work.

I was playing CrossFire fine last night but this morning i tryed to get on and the
"CODE_FIELD" [02-0400-00000000-530] ect happened.

Something like 55 hours ago it was working fine. No problems but now i cant play !
I see that X-Crap make a update.
Maybe thats the problem !

I am using KASPERSKY ANTI-VIRUS 9.0.0.736.

2. Have you added any X-trap or game files to an exception list?
I have added crossfire and the XtrapVa.dll file to exception list.

I have played the fully updated version once, and now every time I want to play it tries to update, nothing happens then the X-trap and HGW pop up they dont do anything then the anti virus send a message of virus detected and eliminated. After that nothing happend.

I want to play CF, I have waited all week for the weekend so I could play, and now the XTrap starts messing up... Okay, so I press crossfire icon, it does the patch thing, then the XTrap downloads or does something which takes a little while, then comes HGWC and then nothing happens. After waiting like 5 minutes comes:

Any help would be damn appreciated!

And if I try again the XTrap downloads the thing again... Is it with that or what?

. when i click on crossfire after 5 minutes it say that timed out for initializing x-trap engine. Please fix that
