Gonna be an unstable 150/170 due to CF likes to bounce it around.

My 965 and 5770 got me very nice FPS. That chip is slower by a little bit but card is better. So.

That CPU will bottleneck the 6870 pretty badly so ~140 fps.

He could CF it with a 6670 but the A10's processor is very weak so the pc wouldn't be very useful for doing work so might as well go for an Intel solution or you could go AM3+ if you really like amd.

More specs then just your CPU would be helpful.

You can update your drivers manually or buy it or torrent it.

Your system might not be very stable if you're overclocking or using a stressful program. Try getting the latest drivers, updating the UEFI, undervolting and underclocking, and disable power saving features like c1e.

Whats your opinion on this card? Is it worth the money or are there better alternatives? Its not to play crossfire I can play that with 200fps on my laptop. The reason why I chose this particular card is that it is the only one that I can find in Cologne that I can buy today. I'm too impatient to wait for it to be delivered and want to play some more demanding games over the weekend.

What is the nicest laptop you guys could find for around $1,000?

I want something sturdy that I won't have to worry about replacing too soon because of hardware failure.

It's mostly going to be used for Web Development, so I guess it's important to have a good processor for multitasking and possibly multiple ports for monitors. A max resolution screen would be a huge bonus as well.

That'll play most new DX11 games today at ultra with good fps.

The 6870 will be fine for most games and 120Hz monitors cost $400+ this explains why 60 Hz is fine

You can plug in external wifi cards in a USB port and internally in a PCI or PCIe slot on your motherboard

Get whatever monitor is cheaper and has the display inputs you have.
I'd get a better case for better airflow and cable management like the Corsair 300R. Everything else seems fine but if you plan to overclock more than 4.3 GHz with more voltage, you'll need a better cooler.
