For one, I am not familiar with the selfish or trellz you are referring to. I believe I am the only one who has had any contact with the CF community before a couple of days ago. Adam is the co-owner of CSN along with the other co-owner Andrew. Jerett is one of the Head Game Admins.
To my knowledge, they have not previously been associated with Crossfire. But you are free to ask them yourself in our vent (Icon on website homepage) or send them a private message on there. -

You have my stamp of approval.
And by that I mean you have the Mexican Stamp of Approval.
That is much appreciated sir. The support is certainly needed. The owners are still looking for more feedback from the competitive community into the rule set, especially the issue on the 100% wall power assault rifle subject. Anyone who has something to say on any of the rules, please keep the comments coming. It's been great so far and very crucial to finalizing a rule set. -

it's all been discussed in the wogl section. -

With all do respect, we are not WOGL. We don't want to go by WOGL discussions. We want to go by your discussions, here and now. If you don't have an opinion, that's fine. I'm sure there are plenty of other players that do. -

it's the same exact discussion in another thread... nobody is going to change their opinion on weapon restrictions from one league to another. if one league is willing to ban xm8 then might as well not use the xm8 for any league -

Good, then they won't mind discussing them again on here. -
Some quick discussion points to address before I head to bed:
- The K2. We all know it has a drop glitch. Should it still be allowed? Not being able to pick it up in SOME situations may lead to rounds being lost, etc. Thoughts? Comments?
Also, I'm quoting MRN from LPK on this and I think he nailed it right on.There is a reason guns like the XM8, K2 and other sniper rifles are not used on a world level. Removing 100% spammable guns would revolutionize this game. It would bring out more teamwork based strats and post plant positions. There will be no more random spams that open up rounds to an unfair advantage. Notice there is also no Silver/Gold guns due to less recoil and more bullets in a clip, which are all unfair advantages. Also their are no ZP guns that give those players with extra cash the upper hand against fellow teams with no money. I truly believe this is the future of CrossFire. -

That is pretty much the reasoning we have for pursuing a strict list of weapons. Thoughts? Comments? I look forward to seeing some messages in the morning. Good night all.
It's all good. Keep it GP weapons. Don't allow the K2/Xm8/G36k/mp5/Scarlight/M12/ and no zp weapons and it's all good.
Also for sniper for gp allow DSR and AWM -

It should be disallowed for that very reason. even if the situation of not being able to pick it up only happens once every ten matches, that certain match could be a playoff match, and that very round could change the momentum of the game. -
Sounds interesting and promising.
Suggestions:
Anti-Cheat - I see you already have one made.
Updates - Update the community daily or every few days, so we know what's going on.
Opening Tournament - See how well it goes. Don't blow it out too fast, take it slow.
Restrictions/Rules - Check previous rule sets and ask the community. I would highly suggest no ZP/crate weapons, female characters, and armor items.
Just my 2 cents. Hope this goes far! -
Just made a few tweaks to the rules. You don't have to read through them all, but it's very important items addressed in red are gone over and discussed, especially the GP items note. Thanks everyone. We're getting closer and closer to a finalized rule set!
CSN CF S&D Rules 2nd Draft -
Okay in doing some research, I have found that some of the GP/ZP cosmetic items can be allowed, without making the matches look completely unprofessional. Let's see if this can be a compromise and go from there:
GP Items- Regular night vision helmet - 750 GP: 3 Days
- Military Compass - 350 GP: 3 Days
- Radio Backpack- 750 GP: 3 Days
- Sprays
ZP Items- Any of the Berets

I support this. The berets make the character look different from the others and they are real, and so they make the game look like more realistic. -

I personally think people will have a hard time questioning what cosmetic item is allowed and isn't allowed; therefore, i think you guys should just take every cosmetic item away. If people can't follow the rule of no items on yourself than they shouldn't be playing competitively.
Keep sprays because they can be used as a strategy.
My 2 cents.
I'd like to see this league go far. -
I didn't surf through the entire thread, but I was wondering about the exclusion of the the m4-advanced, although it is obtainable only through zp, the regular m4 isn't the same as it was early OB and CB, and players who prefer the m4 would probably be dissapointed...take it into consideration?
