Thanks for the time and effort you put in to this Slant
I have this same wobbly mouse issue. but found a different solution. i found it here on the forum. but forgot where.
well i purchased a logitech mx518. and i love it. game was fine & mouse was perfect. i was getting head shots alot more. then we got a update to game... and my mouse seemed to be lagging. and acting very funny. i could not play at all. so i did alot of reading here in the forum. ( wish i would of bookmarked the page i found ) i will try to find it again.
but, it told me to open the game. then open task manager. and find the process crossfire.exe and right click on it. and set the priority to low. ( and you have to do this every time you open crossfire) well i tried this. and it works perfect. no more wobbly mouse. no more lagging ect..
im just curious... if you could explain to me. why this works. what it is exactly doing...
(maybe trying this will help some of you. if slants suggestion did not work) -
It didn't work for me... I have had mouse stuck/glitch problems but then it stopped and 2 days ago it started again.. same mouse since then. Its also a cyborg gaming mouse, by the way when i tried your solution your program didn't verify my mouse in the "mouse only" section. I had to un-tick the "mouse only" box for me to try your solution.
Please give me a solution it's making me cry -
You're linking to a thread which has NO solution, only a confirmation of the problem. How is this old news? Find me one thread that is dedicated to this. Go.
You're showing yourself to be an incontinent little ignoramus here. Stop trying to be witty.
EDIT: After reading my post, I realized I did not express how much disgust you breed within me. You are what is wrong in this community. Your post suggests that you haven't read either my post or that in the thread you linked to, and STILL thought yourself fit enough to ridicule my post, which shows that you have NO rational mind.
Told.

No clue why this works! Put it down to CF having a funky engine! Good suggestion though. It didn't work for me... Fixing the hertzage of the mouse only works for "wavy" aim. Try setting your crossfire process to low priority in the task manager, as suggested by the user above.tigger_dot wrote: »I recently got the EC1 By Zowie wich doesn't contain any drivers So i can't switch the Hertz. The program that can change your mouserating doesn't work either.
Any other solutions?I got a new Razor Death Adder. its cool... but i cant enjoy it .. idk if its the mouse or the game.. im playing n some times it fezzes n glitches.. any tips? or suggestion. ......
See the suggestion by user TOPOMATIC251! Try setting your crossfire.exe priority to low in the task manager! -
hmm i changed my mouse rate restarted computer to put the new mouse rate in effect then my mouse wouldnt work lol so now its plugged into a diff usb port good thing i have 8 of them on my computer lol
ill try the low priority thing
k i tried the low priority and it made no difference any other suggestions?
also i think the original usb i tried to change the poll rate in is broke lol mouse wont do anything when plugged into it i only tried to change it from 500 to 250
k now i dont think the usb port is fried because my keyboard works in it but it just does not detect my mouse... weird -
thought this was common knowledge about the cf engine...
Thank you. I was starting to think maybe there was a hack of some kind that affected my aim. It was only happening from time to time. I think this will fix the problem. I use a USB wireless i-rocks gaming mouse. I love it but I have been having this problem, so thankx -

I do have the same mouse, and you can change it by plugging the mouse while holding or not the mouse buttons 3 and 4.
not pressing any button = 1000hz
holding the 'foward' button = 500hz
holding the 'backwards' button = 250hz
