  • Great! CF eSports 2016 is finally taking off :D
Sadly out of the country right now but good luck to all the participanting teams!

Also I have a question, what anticheat will be used? Surely there has to be anticheat with all this money being distributed.
  • This is nice, totally unexpected to see $ as a prize!
  • So these qualifiers determine placement into and seeding for open and pro divisions?

And what exactly does "the winner will ultimately compete in the cfs global finals" mean?

    ?_?

Also plz push back the tournament at least 2 days

Good luck to everyone coming back and competing. The time to prepare is lame.

It seems incredibly silly to announce this 3 days beforehand. Can you push it back at least, I dunno, a week?
  • zedw0wzedw0w Holy Knight
    push it back please
  • So the winner of these bo1 single elimination qualifiers, announced 3 days before they happen, is going to China? Sounds awesome

Also the CFS prize pool is $700k, not $400k

As I heard it's $400k and I'm sure the gms know the exact amount otherwise they would not post/ announce it tho. =) it's a huge prize tho. I wish everyone best of luck and I hope you all have a lot of fun ofc.

Total prize pool is not necessarily the same as the Global Finals prize pool.

Please push this back at least until next weekend.

    True true, my bad

One question though, will we ever be able to change the roster of our team?

Will you deign to also delay the qualifier for said divisions until next weekend?
  • bo1s till finals?

make it bo3 single elimination, matches in cf dont take long
  • i'm shocked xD I've never seen an event gives that much of money before.
Good luck to all of you and I wish you win the prize. :)

Sorry I did make a mistake the winner gets into the pro league and whoever wins there is going to cfs. I'm sorry if I confused you or anything.

PLEASE PUSH IT BACK. where is the consideration...
  • BritishjoshBritishjosh Knight-Errant
Lol, I knew they'd make an announcement with little notice.

they always do it. Like even as a human being.. where is the consideration? I mean it'll allow more teams to prepare. Then they cry about the outcome but look at the time they give people to prepare. Who is the person in charge? What are they thinking? This is why the comp scene is dead. People making decisions counter productive.

Random seeding, single elimination. The winners (presumably top X) get into the pro league.

You have to be in the pro league to make it into CFS.

Looking forward to Teamw0w vs Carbon round 1, single elimination bo1. With neither team having their whole roster due to lack of notice. Loser doesn't make it into the Pro League.

    Sounds stellar.

That was sarcasm. Please push the date back, and actually use seeding.

    + 1

we also have roster issues as well, we had to remake our team on the page due to that (+ image issue)

ps: how many teams get into the pro divisions anyway?

it's a shame cuz Geordie's going to Barcelona for 2 weeks very soon :/ - To be honest I don't see why can't at least move it to Sunday, why saturday.

Not to be rude but who is the genius with the schedule? Seem a little ill prepared and unprofessional to force something like this so quickly with proper notice. Glad to see this happening but management seems to be slacking.
