I put this in, and I got onto the game, yea... then my game froze up like I was disconnecting, so I force-quit out, and relaunched, only to see me blocked for a few minutes. Any explanations?

from what i see is to many error right now in server , the new error is that you play in game and after few minute's you get error and not only you ...all from room "Faild to connnect to server" soo that explain that server have some lag/bug's and until administrator dont make a new patch/update we cannot play in pace soo we need to wait

Hello everyone not saying that this person did this but be aware that the uploaded xtrap files he is promoting could have hidden loggers keyed right into the scripting its self and your protection WILL NOT detect these word of advice let the mods and gms and IT deal with this as it isnt the game its self is a data transmission error from xtrap the files seem to be corrupt and not fully sending they need to update xtrap to a newer version and wipe the prior ones and this will fix their issue but as we all know xtrap techs aren't too bright once again becareful downloading ANY file for ther game that is not GM Approved

Believe me , from whom i took these folders is a noob who knows nothing only to enter the game and play,i do not think he put keyloggers in the files, and i do not make this because im here and play this game since was in beta and have never stolen anything from anyone, everyone from my clan know me as a helper user, i have a hight account and im happy with it, why to stole from others.... What have you done now is a little bit of insult me because i am only trying to help as i could.

can confirm it works with xp
buddie had the issue and all he did was copy the xtrap contents, not even the HGW...and it still worked.

Ok, I made some further testing...
(Win7 Ultimate 64bit)

Not sure if that is the case on other PCs until others confirm this - but I guess it is...
It seems that you only need these two files from the downloaded XTrap-folder:
XTrap.xt
XTrapVa.dll

You can replace them or delete the content in the org. XTrap-folder and insert them (-the other files will be downloaded at the next start).
No need to replace both folders fully (-at least at my PC).

For those who are scary - the .xt file is digital signed and you can check the .dll with an online virus-scanner - like i did (3 warnings out of 48 = normal false positives).

P.S.: Again - lets see what will happen at the next XTrap-patch...
Maybe a GM should provide us an alternative download link of the two original updated files - this would prevent a lot of hassle and should be no security risk...

i upload the last x-trap & hgwc file ... i tell to my friend in facebook to give me the old folder x-trap and hgwc file from him to put in my crossfire folder over exist file and i replace and it's work now , i im in game


so you only need to download one of these three links and put over the folders that already exist in crossfire folder

from what i see does not work on Windows XP, i need to go now, but i promise i will try tomorrow from someone who has windows xp to see if it can solve the problem on Windows XP

hmmmm... maybe a copy problem...

Try to delete the original two folders and copy-paste the dowloaded ones in the crossfire-folder...
