XTrap Error fixes and Data Collection

HA !mine was running fine last night.I go to turn it on this morning xtrap updates and i get an xtrap error code.So is something gonna be done about this?

No

3. Have you tried disabling the virus program during installation and running of the game?

I believe that all Brazilians are with errors in its x-trap.
I would like to solve this case z8 games as fast as possible,
because we as Brazilians z8 largest customers, we are being harmed because of these updates.

hi all i have win7 64bit also i can login join and search for a server untill i jion 1 im fooooked i black screens and i get that stupid error.. i have a 5870 radion i have googled this problen and see the xtrap error everywere so i thought id get it out because for a free game it doing my nut in i just wanna play

ps i did a reformat ne way 2 days b4 i installed it

xtrap blocks programs such as mumble on startup. Would be nice to fix that

I Was having a problem in Xtrap when i open the game it launchs the Patcher then it downloads the updates then Xtrap opens to make XTrap files updates and when it gone to the last update in Xtrap it stops at " XTrapVa.dll " file and it dont continue i downloaded the game from the begining again and i thaught that it will work but it failed its comes at XTrapVa.dll file and stops again ... what can i do ????? -.-' xS xS Please Answer Me

Solution to problem!

Here it is guys: (Working 100% for Windows 7 - 64bit)

PRIOR NOTE: Be sure to temporarily DISABLE your anti-virus software. Ex. For Avast 5.x - Click the real-time scanner tab and click turn OFF.

1. Uninstall Crossfire
2. Using the Downloader, download crossfire again - (You'll get the setup.exe file)
3. RIGHT CLICK the file and select properties.
4. Click the "Compatability" tab.
5. Check the box and select "Run as Windows XP Service Pack 3"

6. RUN THE SETUP.EXE FILE --- Be sure to add a desktop shortcut with the install.

After it installs; click finish. DO NOT START COSSFIRE YET.

7. Right click on the desktop icon of Crossfire.
8. Compatibility --> Run --> Windows XP Service Pack 3 (Again)

9. START CROSSFIRE with the desktop shortcut.

This will force the patcher to also run in XP Service Pack 3 emulation and start to load the game.

10. Exit Crossfire (DO NOT PLAY) - and right click the desktop shortcut again.
11. Change the compatibilty mode BACK TO NORMAL. (Uncheck the "Run in..." option)

12. LAST BUT NOT LEAST; RESTART YOUR COMPUTER.

13. On restart, enable your (avast in this case) anti-virus again if you need to.

14. Play the game! Have fun! And... feel free to thank me!

Cheers all! (If you're wondering what the problem is, X-Trap is CLEARLY not optimized/ready for 64-bit OSs And/Or Windows 7 in general.)

I have just uninstalled antivirus and turned off firewall. Download Cf and installed it. Tried to start Cf and when xtrap was loading i got this message at step 3

CODE_FIELD [10-0300-800C0008-104]

The access to X-Trap patch server is unstable or X-Trap update wasn't able to
run properly. Please, restart game.

and after restart same problem happens.

so i guess it dont have nothing with antivirus and firewall.

im running windows xp.
