Tigerdirect is legit. They have a large selection. Newegg has re-stock fee of 15% percent on returns plus shipping.
TigerDirect probably the same.
Ebay has a lot of good sellers too. -

The FX black edition 3.6 ghz is the better one, you will have to get a watercooler for the overclocking on it.
MOBO you should get a brand name one like Asus for overclocking.
Graphics you should get a 6800 series like 6850 or 6870 or higher, or nvidia 560Ti or higher, for better game performance.
Do some more research. -
I got an old computer this:

How do I fix it to make it faster. -

You recommend a bulldozer over a phenom for gaming and claim that he needs watercooling for overclocking? You sir are the one who needs to do more research. -

Says you.
Are you implying water cooling it not adequate for overclocking? -

Never implied watercooling is not adequate. READ AND TRY TO UNDERSTAND WHAT I POSTED BEFORE REPLYING.
He said that you absolutely need watercooling for overclocking, when that's not true. Aircooling for overclocking the FX-series will work just fine. There are some very capable aircoolers on the market that can achieve high overclocks on them faildozers. -

You are correct watercooling Isn't needed as long as you got a good Air Cooler. -

Lol read it perfectly fine. You must have just met me. Hi I'm Giggletron. Im a sarcastic *****.
He never said you absolutely need one. I would have read that as a suggestion rather than the only possible solution ever for overclocking. And tbh.... you're not gonna get very far overclocking air cooling it anyway. So yeah.. for best results, you would need a water cooler. -

Liquid cooling. It's for serious oc, and not that much more expensive, for quieter operation. Especially you live in a hot climate in the summer, when its humid and hot.
FX 4100 has built in a graphic chip, AMD 6600 series. Phenom has not.
Sandybridges are fast because they have built in Intel graphics 3000, plus windows and a lot of games have better support for Intel.
The CPU+GPU combination was first started by AMD, Intel borrowed their idea and made Sandybridges. -

im not gonna play high intense games. my budget is very low, if it wasn't i would just get myself an Intel but at 3.6 i think it will run crossfire/combat arms/ava etc just fine. i don't need high end stuff. not gonna overclock it or anything.
if anyone could find me a better processor/graphics card with around the price range of what i have provided then that would be great.
i am willing to spend a little more on a graphics card though.

with one cpu intensive program up, and it's not even rendering.
Run a torture test and monitor all temps with the following(http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html) and the come back.
LONG EXTENDED use of torture test with out proper cooling can be fatal I warned you!
