okay let me re-state that. you can DO what ever you want to do when you run a league. but to be fair to all of the teams and all of the players, a season or two to place high and go 'p' or not place high and go 'o' seems to be the only way. You can't just start a league, get teams, and divide them on how you want.

i didn't go back and read all of it. all i'm saying is that little placement cups aren't enough. esl did it and lasted barely a season. at least a season and maybe a placement cup. but you will need at least a season to tally up what teams place for pro, and what teams place for open.

lpk beats LL in wogl finals. lifeline smurfed and got dq'd(a dq is a loss.) pretty sure there was a wogl placement tournament where Trio beat LL back in the day. not sure though.
