Becoming a mod 101

I give people in sight about the mechanics of the game. I give people advice about things that have to do with life. I am a role model. I am more qualified to be a mod than any mod right now, and anybody on the forums, including you who posts unnecessary things to increase your post count. People make threads about me asking for help. I get numerous PM's a day, not just about computer related stuff, but just basic general questions that have to do with their crossfire accounts, etc.
I even get PM's about people's problem in their household, nothing a MOD would get because people don't see them anything else then puppets, which is actually true.
Bottom line: If you are as good as you say, you'd be a mod; but your not so......do the math. -
You forgot this to encourage people.
funny man
ot: the only reason id want to be a mod is to ban hacks but then again forum mods can't do that... and besides im too anti br to be a mod -

Minus the fact that he's still ban evading his permanent bans and can be banned whenever a MOD feels it so.
He may be banned but I like Tastylimes. I have never seen a bad post from him so it's not clear why he would be banned, other than the reason staff may not like what he say's but he certainly doesn't go about it in a derogatory or abusive manner.
Tasty for mod! -
The day TastyLimes gets promoted to moderator is the day Sarah Palin gets elected President of the United States.
Nonetheless, Saidin and his crew have the final words on who to entrust with this position. Being a brown nose, if apparent, will not get you the "job". Trust me. -
The day that you're recognised more than that 30 year old who spends his days playing video games and obsessively searching about peoples lives is the day that Donald Trump gets elected president of the United States.
You should calm down a bit Tasty. While my intervention could have been alarming to you, the reasoning behind it was that you haven't shown any behavior and empathy hinting at you being given such responsibilities. You merely just want power and prove whatever your point is. Matter of fact, self-indulgence is not a trait that will attract positive attention to the GM. You simply rely on your own intelligence, which doesn't make you necessarily brilliant by the way.
This is not how it's gonna work, but I'm sorry I do not have the patience required to educate you every evening on how real life really is. This is something you will have to learn by yourself. -
it's safe to say that half of this community would disagree with you.
Just because you have self-proclaimed approval from the allegedly half community doesn't mean you have any bit of said-approval from the people calling the shots.
If you really are an entrepreneur, I think you would have understood that fact ages ago. Seems more like a desperate argument from you.
Oh and while we're at it: #shutdown.
Have a good night Limes. -
HEY! I GOT AN IDEA! How about making a 100 more MODs in a quick recruit, AND THE ONLY POWER THEY HAD IS TO BAN HACKERS IN-GAME!??
WOW
WOOOOO!
(dont make them part of CF MODS of course... They would run before turning ON hacks. Duh!)
WHOA, THEY'RE SO EASY TO FIND!
PRACTICLY EVERYWHERE! WHOA!
Problem solved. zCaptain for president -
I have absolutely no clue on why you're saying this sarcastically when it is evidently true.
No I meant every wordWhen i was picked mod, i was in a small clan and i was a little known on the forums.
I was smart, articulate, and was mature enough to handle the position.
just an fyi.
Like some of us. Others mods bring a person into Saidins spotlight -

Mods are normal people, just like myself!
We have to enforce the rules as needed! Don't break the rules, and you won't have to worry about complaining! -
What are the grounds to become a mod? huh? Really, this is ridiculous, every mod right now does no contributing for this community, whoever thinks otherwise is clueless. The fact that I get more private messages a day than most mods about questions tells you something doesn't it? the fact that people make threads calling me for help tells you something doesn't it? it tells you that I contribute a lot more than anyone else. I probably have the qualification to manage this entire company, not just sit behind my computer and delete posts every hour or so. That's what differentiates me from everybody else, that's why I should get more respect from these astounding moderators and that is why people should respect the fact I believe I qualify 100% to be a moderator.
Best post on this whole thread -
If I became a mod,My first move would be to ban umerked.
I think doing that alone would make me a top contributor to the community in my own right..[MOD]Giggletron wrote: »
