Granted, its brilliant that you do, its got nothing to do with crossfire (apart from one thread) and like I said before... you hardly have the best track record.
Tell me how you contribute? Trust me, deleting factual threads on how forum members become mods isn't contributing. I'd do it too to save the embarrassment that every mod goes through reading that thread.
The people that contribute are usually the people that get in fracted and banned for trolling, believe it or not. -
idk i thought there was a mod spot or something, idc anyway so
They actually have too many MODs at the moment. TalonBlaze was hired after Rob left, and Rob came back. If you ask me, they won't be looking for at least another few months. -

But that's more than what any mod does. What do you do other then deleting posts that I make? what have you done that has changed the community? absolutely nothing, enjoy being a mod, the only thing that differentiates you and that other user is that tag in your name. -

Grey has been on and off. He's busy with his job now. Still around, you guys just don't see him much in action. But he is still very much helping out in various other ways. -

And what have you done except suggest that people buy things that you feel they should buy? At least they clean up after trolls and at least try to help out other people. Copying and pasting links from NewEgg really isn't considered a break-through. -

I deal with the EU times along with Dot (who often works nights) and Us3r (Often get up late >_> leaving me on my own), deleting the odd stupid thread that sprung up overnight.. Early morning cleanup... I also do a bit of "behind the scenes" stuff you lot will never see. Ive also made a few posts in the "Common Solutions" thread.
But you know... your thread was obviously 100% based on facts you are yet to back up. Either way im not interested. -

I give people in sight about the mechanics of the game. I give people advice about things that have to do with life. I am a role model. I am more qualified to be a mod than any mod right now, and anybody on the forums, including you who posts unnecessary things to increase your post count. People make threads about me asking for help. I get numerous PM's a day, not just about computer related stuff, but just basic general questions that have to do with their crossfire accounts, etc.
I even get PM's about people's problem in their household, nothing a MOD would get because people don't see them anything else then puppets, which is actually true. -

You do realize that you are on a free to play gaming forum right? Why don't you post on a computer forum to give people that life, or create a Patrick Bateman Twitter, I doubt people want to hear life stories on this forum anyways.
Unnecessary? Show me recent posts which were unnecessary. I'm staying out of this. -
all you have to do is write long essays on how good of a job z8games is doing
This surprisingly isn't as helpful as you might think.
There's a difference between intelligent feedback and useless feedback. Whether or not its positive or negative. It's how you say it that matters rather than the content.
Ultimately though, I'm staying out of this thread. Because any time we would say something an upset, bitter user will dredge up threads that contradict the matter.
At the end of the day we stick up for our mods and we haven't been disappointed by our decisions in making mods who they are now. They know what it takes. If you have to ask yourself the question about whether or not you think you should be a mod then you're already probably taking 2 steps back. -

Exactly, I'm on a F2P gaming forum and people are private messaging me asking questions about things in general life. I'm obviously doing something right. -

Tasty, youre fighting a pointless argument here... Youre either extremely bored or extremely drunk. You arent proving anything here.
Do you not understand the basis of my discussion? I contribute more than any mod, therefore, I would be a much more effective and useful moderator. It's sad, instead of having 11 mods that do nothing why doesn't z8games hire 3-4 moderators that actually do something productive, and contributing instead of deleting posts once in a while. -

I still dont see your proof..
Because you only SEE us deleting/closing threads?
You dont actually know what is done -

Its not my fault you cant look 2 feet past your ego.
wow very impressive giggletron, truly very impressive.
I may have an insanely-huge ego, but if people were private messaging you about their life problems you would have one too. -

I get enough of that in my own real life.. Im not interested in people life problems over the internet.
That also isnt grounds for being a moderator. -

What are the grounds to become a mod? huh? Really, this is ridiculous, every mod right now does no contributing for this community, whoever thinks otherwise is clueless. The fact that I get more private messages a day than most mods about questions tells you something doesn't it? the fact that people make threads calling me for help tells you something doesn't it? it tells you that I contribute a lot more than anyone else. I probably have the qualification to manage this entire company, not just sit behind my computer and delete posts every hour or so. That's what differentiates me from everybody else, that's why I should get more respect from these astounding moderators and that is why people should respect the fact I believe I qualify 100% to be a moderator. -
I think you need to kiss some serious Saidin ass to become one. Honestly, I expected the MODs to be impartial, single-minded and objective when it comes to certain subjects.
Unfortunately, some prefer giving cool comments, instead of actual advice of use. Besides this, some are way to arrogant for their position. You are a MOD in a forum visited by what...500 people? And you can delete their threads and infract them....wow!
My point is, they should be some kind of guards to the forum, but also some connection bridge between the users and Saidin ( i dont think he browses the forum all day long ) in order to provide him the general subjects. For example, the lately increased appearance of speed hackers in the game. I didn't saw many, but enough to ruin the gaming experience.
In the position of MOD i would choose any day a person with patience, civility and education, over a "cool" teenager just wanting to be in the spotlight. But i guess thats why those guys are actually payed to do their job. -

Exactly this. Where have you been this entire time?
