It's overpowered, requires little-to-no skill to use, very minimal recoil, high RoF, good amount of damage, and highly accurate. What else really needs to be said? Only bad kids use this gun, since they know they'll fail if they don't.
Go play some pub with a scrub, do some 'pwnage', then try to do the same thing with an AK. -

GP cost has nothing to do with skill, and any argument containing anything about the cost of a weapon is completely idiotic in this context. -

Search functions are useless, apparently.
Also, the Scar Light was deemed extremely easy to use pretty much ever since it came out. It also apparently even had a nerf shortly after coming out and it still didn't kill the gun.
Because this has been discussed to death in so many threads, let me give you the reason why in one sentence:
The Scar Light has the same feel as a gun from MW2.

All right. If you really want to know the obvious, the Scar Light has no "defect" that other guns have.
Example: AK - slow cool down, K2 - slow ROF, AUG - slow reload etc.
The Scar Light has great accuracy, little to no cool down, fast reload, good power, decent wallbang power, easy spray pattern, fast pullout.
Compared to other guns, this gun is very easy to use and master. -
the scar light has changed a bit since the original, not just the sound, but the dynamics of the gun its self, for one you can't spray with the scar light during competitive play, NOT PUBS, why? because you're playing against higher skilled players which can easily outgun a scar light, guns such as a M4 or Ak47 can out spray the scar light, their spray patterns are just no match for it, and also those guns are just as accurate, and very versatile, getting killed by a scar light and b1tching about it is just another excuse for being outgunned and f*cking up. what difference does it make if a player uses a xm8 or k2, one can argue that the k2 is way to accurate, and the spray is really tight, sure it has a slow rof and reload, but with a gun that's a easy 1-2-3 shot burst you won't find yourself needing to use that many bullets, and the xm8 has OP wallbang and virtually easy spray control above average reload and great ROF yet people still see it as a competitive gun, ONLY because wogl hasn't ruled anything against it.

When it first came out no one cared, I was there when it happened. People still used other guns.

I addressed this. Stating facts with no actual argument is useless. Unless you think skill is solely aiming for the head, in which case I recommend pubbing in Alpha 7. -
