The SPOP Guide
Intro: As we all know one of the most controversial subjects in crossfire is the SPOP female character model. You can purchase this model for 8200 zp so only those who pay to play or do enough surveys have access to this character. It is an increasingly common phenomenon in Pubs (Public Games) and even in the clan servers during scrims. This guide is here to dispel some myths and to inform the general populace about the SPOP character.
Size and Shape of the Character Model: The first thing that everyone will notice when they first encounter an SPOP is that they look skinnier than the normal SAS, OMOH, or SWAT characters. This may confuse you at first but dont be fooled, the hit boxes ARE THE SAME, I repeat, ARE THE SAME as the other character models. So as long as you keep a cool head and an trained trigger finger you will be fine.
Running and Walking Speed: When the SPOP first came out there were many threads that claimed the SPOP "ran faster." This claim is entirely false as your run speed is determined by the mobility of your weapon. The SPOP has the same running speed as every other character model.
Rank and Skill Claims: There are many people who claim that those who use the SPOP are all "noobs." This is simply slander by those who are frustrated when they encounter the SPOP. This generalization does not stand up as there is no rank requirement for the SPOP. The character model is used by players from all skill levels. Using a certain character model will never make someone a "noob."
Gender and Sex Claims: The same people that claim all SPOP users are "noobs" will also state that SPOP users are "Gay, Homosexual, Guys who can't get girls in real life, or 12 year old kids that want to get off." This again stems from the frustration they have experienced when playing SPOP users in pubs. SPOP are use by straight men, women, and other of different sexual orientations. To claim that all users are "gay" is offensive and detrimental to the crossfire community.
League and Clan Play: The SPOP is banned from tournaments according to the WOGL standards. This does not prevent players from using SPOP characters in the clan server during scrims. Each clan will have preferences when dealing with this character.
Final Thoughts: The SPOP will always receive controversy from the community as it is predominantly male based. Most of the males assume that they are always playing other males. However there is a percentage of the community, however small, that are something other than male. Once we learn to accept this and take this into account, I believe our community will benefit as a whole.
Hope the guide helped.

Good guide but the hitboxes are different.
nah,i think the hitboxes are smaller but the SPOP is smaller,i.e. the hitboxes are invisible -.- So bassically you have the mental advantage on everyone else so yes, they are noobs.
Control had a thread about this before i think,he explained it pretty well. -
I love the SPOP the voice is so realistic and the nails! Manicured! XD
yeah, not really, but i like the SPOP because in sniping, essentially, you're just a target that can shoot. Smaller targets *visually* help you. Immensely. As well as that, i have seen noobs use SPOP, and pros use the normal ones, so there's no point complaining about skill level...in fact, my clan leader who's amazing uses his SAS most of the time because he doesn't like manicured nails -
Good guide.
Players complains hackers, noobs and whatever mainly because the things not going their way.
I enjoy to see female characters in the game, and fortunately, most of the female character are sexy (exception is secret operation, one of female characters is manly).
I remember a guy who gave suggestion to warrock player: "There is no topless medic in the game!". Even though we do really not expect to see that, it is still good to see girl characters in the game (and also it is not a bad thing to see topless characters in the game ).
Also if there are enough flexibility to create looking (I saw an intro video about an adult game in which a character's looking can be adjusted), there will be much more space to increase the game mode and fun. Say, now we have the game mode to simulate real. You need to pick target from their looking, height and size, instead of the red tag. At this point, players can invest to change their looking and size -- like bigger ****s and butts:) -
i know the hitboxes are the same, but you have to think this way:
smaller visual character, and most people aim for the character they SEE. meanign when shooting a spop, they go for the smaller portion of the character, nobody aims for the invisible part of the hitbox, the only thing hitting the invisible parts are recoil, and bad aim.
so in reality, yes the hitboxes are the same, but the visual hitbox (the player outline) are different, which makes anyone, except for a calm gamer (usually the 'pro/half decent' kids) iffy.
[ /// ] [//////] bad drawing but thats what it is, which is easier to kill, if you think 'only hit the /' -
If you're a half decent gamer then you'll be able to snipe and shoot an SPOP as well as an SAS, OMOH, or SWAT. And since all these kids on the forum seem to think they're pros, why are they complaining? The mental advantage everyone talks about is something akin to being "Psyched Out."
You know what else psychs people out?
Good players.
And really, you just said it yourself. There is no advantage built into the SPOP character. The advantage is in the minds of the people who play against them. They've become so commonplace that i've gotten used to them. -
femme (fm)
adj.
Slang Exhibiting stereotypical or exaggerated feminine traits. Used especially of lesbians and gay men...
Just thought I would point that out...and for your "guide"...it isn't really a guide. All I really see is a thread made by a person who is tired of going into matches and getting "picked on" based on what character they use. I'll admit when the spop first came out, most of people who used it were upper skill level players...but like the scar light...as popularity raised...so did the questions about it being "too easy". -

Spop has a clearly smaller frame,
When aiming, do you shoot for the hit-boxes or the body?
And because most of you need explanations for everything, what i have illustrated here is same hit-box, smaller body. -

You sacrifice your dignity for a smaller hit box. xD
