Friendly fire makes all the difference.
I never said FF doesn't make a difference, I said it's just not set to 100% damage in source. The video doesn't show me whether or not the damage is 100%. -

I don't know dude, it looks like he got shot like 5 times, and he was already low.
My guess would be it's about the same as source, which I think is around 30%.
Definitely no higher then 40%.
Also, I'm just saying this in comparison to CS games. There's no reason why CF can't be 100%. Like I said, either reduced or full damage is fine with me. -

I'd MUCH rather a reduced damage.
Anyone with 1.6, We can go test the 100% TK damage.. -

I definitly agree with the "Join at half or middle of the game" suggestion.
With the add of the Kick System, which means you get kicked out of the game if you're 2 minutes idle, the ability to join the middle/half game is a must.
You don't get idle-kicked in scrims tho. -

Keep fixed spawns as is... everything else I agree upon though, round timer should be
different for each map (with GM maps getting generaly large timers as they can span a great deal of time). though I think timers shouldn't be any lower then 2:00.

Great idea's and all very important to bettering this game's competitive play.
Couple of points I'd like to touch on.
-FF damage should be between 50-80% on all shots. 100% is in my opinion too much.
-Make 1 regular server with FF as well. For example, everybody knows echo 8 is currently known for teams going in and scrimmaging along with pugs. If it's a more serious pug draft or a team just feels like heading to echo 8, and they still want a serious scrim, put and FF option in echo 8 as well. Nobody really goes there for pubs and the toggle on/off button for the FF can be on.
Example: Echo Server Channel 8 (Friendly Fire Enabled)
-Round times in my opinion do need to be brought down. 1:45-155 is ideal.
-Random/round changing spawns would be great.
-BEING ABLE TO JOIN BACK AT ANY TIME DURING THE MATCH, unless the number of players is equivalence to what they were when the match started.
With all this, clan server would be the ideal place to find organized and competitive scrims.
-Seeing names through smoke and flashes get's tricky though, because i do know seeing name tags is a crucial part of quick scoping for some players in this game. Maybe they could so something like removing name tags when your flashed or looking into smoke if that's possible.
GREAT idea's that should definitely be considered and implemented with the competetive scene in Crossfire improving. -
