CF won't start?

Lol, I bought ZP right after it shut down. So, I uninstall it and install it back but it wont let me patch, so I gonna have to do patch again when it gets back up. Seriously though, right after i get ZP it stops.

It's most likely due to yesterday's patch. Some of you logged in yesterday after 11pm PST would have been patched up. The problem, therefore, is the new patch itself. Could be number of reasons why, but none of them is based on user error. Do not reverse engineer or manual change any portion of any files in the game folder. You risk many things by being impatient.
I personally think it's a bad code or their server not being updated properly for the XP event.
Hopefully the fix this ASAP. Judging the amount of replies I believe this problem is strictly based on their patch because it's been numerous hours that customers been waiting for fix. I think it after someone patches and just relogged from disconnection or voluntary termination, then USER cannot relog back in.
I hope they fix it today, preferably now. ^^ -

I patched up last night and was on earlier just fine. Maybe it is a server problem and not a patch issue. The idiot they hired to write code got the code right but tripped on a few wires on the way out of the closet that they call his office.

Seriously Z8 has much more problems with Crossfire then any other company has with their games WHY? lol I don't want to complain cause Crossfire is asome and this could happen to any online game I guess but the thing is I have been playing since Beta and Suba aswell as Z8 games have way to many problems with Crossfire.. I sometimes don't play CF for a couple of Months because they screw up but eventualy I install it every time over and over again lol

[8]01:43:25 Wrong version.ini So pls any help how to solve this problem. -

Nah, it's a patch issue. Patch issues is not a specific problem. It can be wrong code, server not updated for patch, 1 side has good patch and other doesn't, and it goes on and on.
But by your own description. You patched up, played, left for whatever reason, came back and now you cannot relog back in. When you patched up and actually played, you didn't get the 20%+ EXP like you suppose to. However, when the effect came about then that's when the problem became apparent.
In other words, the problem is the patch because the game went haywire at the time when 20% exp came to effect. Which, in turn, corrupted your Patch you received before the event which supposed to have not cause any problems.
See how it comes down to A-Patch and B-Their client servers. ^^

It really is a good game. I just wish they would spend more time fixing bugs and ridding us of hackers and less time making new game modes. Also, it wouldn't hurt to mod some old maps for use with the new modes. On the hackers issue, I do think it has gotten better since Z8 bought Crossfire. I did still have report two hackers yesterday, though. It would also be convenient to have a better way of reporting people.
