ya but i believe thats the xtrap server just they were to lazy to rename it

Hey is it only me that is haveing a problem with my crossfire or everyone else??i click on my crossfire and i start but nothin comes out then it says patcher is already running then its says updating fails.

I was just helping people out with the problem but Cf havent updated Gameguard to Xtrap on server update status..:)

Ok i may have found another way.

Right read VERY carefully...

Step 1:
Right Click on the CrossFire.exe
Step 2:
Go in to Properties.
Step 3:
In the "Target" process it will say;
"C:\Program Files\Z8Games\CrossFire\crossfire.exe"
Step 4:
After the last " add this line;
Step 5:
-windowed, -normal,
Step 6:
Click Apply then run CF

Any problems, Let me know

Opened Cf and after 2 mins it said could not download version.ini =/

If you cannot follow then do not attempt it. If anyone else follows this correctly and it doesn't work then just remove the "-window", "-normal"

I go to start the game up and it says patcher already running wth i restarted my computer 18 times i wuz playing it i got d/c then i go to log on and it does that

Whoops my bad. Everyone when you are in the "Properties" Window, Go on to Shortcut and it is on there.

Honestly.

I dont' think it's a shortcut issue.

As everyone's stated. I'm about 99% sure that it's thinking it has an update. One of the wonderful GM's of CF typed a wrong line of code to give us 20% exp this weekend.
Instead we get nothing...

Lol, I bought ZP right after it shut down. So, I uninstall it and install it back but it wont let me patch, so I gonna have to do patch again when it gets back up. Seriously though, right after i get ZP it stops.
