As I said, I have the latest version possible of Windows already.. Reinstalling wont do shiz, and it might affect me from playing CrossFire at all, so no ty.

@ starburst It seems that my hypothesis is roughly correct, I downloaded the version.dat and version.ini -> launch cf and there's patching with the patcher, went straight to hgwc update.

now I only have to download the missing files to make the game work properly, I will try to upload pack all in 1 .rar file once I'm done downloading
