Stop trying to fix sh!t. You do nothing but f.k it up every time. When are you gonna learn? You come off so brilliant and professional in your announcements, But you're as ret@rded as they come.
Lol faqqot get off the forum right now if you have nothing good to say. I may not be the best person in the world like you, but at least I try and help people fix their problems! Oh, and what the hell have you done to help? Please gtfo of this place. Thank you and have a nice day.
OT: I need some info, how did you end up to being stuck at Extracting 1N.cab? We're you just patching, did you get any errors earlier but fixed them?
For me, I first recieved Cannot Find a File Needed For Patch, so I deleted RF017.rez and now stuck on this. -

I fixed that then..
If anyone can give me your RF017.rez and 1N file in backup, ZP FOR YOU!
I have solved mine and it worked. Go to crossfire folder on program files click the REZ Section
And remove the Rez that says RF017.REZ take it off the crossfire folder than start the patcher again!
If it work Gift the Zp to me!
IGN: House?
10k ZP will good -
Obviously you didn't read the whole post and replies.
We have ALL fixed the "Cannot Find File Needed For Patch", which is fixable by delete RF017.rez (I see you took my idea from a thread to fix this last month). Now we are all stuck on the extraction part, I have done everything I know to attempt to fix it, including uninstall and reinstalling, disabling firewall/anti virus, deleting the RF017.rez again, deleting the 1N.cab file in the backup folder, it re downloads but it could never extract the file. -
Did you delete CF from your app data?
Wiped it out completely. Tried multiple methods to fix but like..
1. Redownload and reinstall
2. Deleting RF017.rez (it's the file in the 1N.cab that can't be extracted)
3. Disabling antivirus and related
4. Manually extracting files from 1N.cab (extraction failed) -

its was named as 1D in my system i found the RF017 file in it so i uploaded it.
1N.cab and not 1D its not it
computer/programfiles/z8games/backup1177/ you will see
1N 4D 1D 2N 3N 5D
i want you to pick 1N.cab and extract it and upload it manually on mediafire -

He won't have the file since he didn't have the "Cannot find file needed for patch" error. When you bypass that error, you are forced to modify the RF017.rez, making it unrecognizable to the patcher, therefore creating a new file call 1N.cab, which contains multiple REZ files including RF017.rez. However, it seems like the file is too big or something, and the patcher can't handle extracting it all out into one piece. -

I went through the patching (letting crossfire patch with no other programs open, ie browsers )
my ..backup\1177 folder looks like this and the game runs as it should..
You've already tried replacing the RF017.rez file and still get stuck the error?
I'll post a screenshot of my folder in there later.
