Is it impossible to create an entirely different cf for UK?
you say something about being under the same license and if you take a look at brazil, it's still under the domain of z8games.
Thus is it impossible for your team to virtually create another cf specifically for UK? -

We want to specifically have tournaments for players in the UK, and heck, even in Egypt because there are some great players looking for competition there. In addition to the classic NA players we already know compete in the game.
But this takes time, we want to get people signed up and playing in the ESG winter series first and see how this structure is going to go. Let the NA players be the guinea pigs on the setup. Then let us grow these tournaments with larger prizes and bring in players from many other countries.
In this aspect, we just ask for a little patience. We're taking steps here to ensure competition thrives, grows and becomes worth playing for the players that take it seriously. But we can't just throw the kitchen sink out the window on the first go around. Cash prizes for players outside the NA is definitely going to happen. It's only a matter of time.
While I am here, I also want to just recognize (for those who may not know) the problems with WCG and CFS as far as the UK goes. Both of those tournaments are run without our affiliation. They are paid for by people who are not G4Box.
The WCG tournament structure doesn't include the UK for whatever reason. I am not entirely sure why. But if there was some sort of support for the UK then I am sure there would be CF Support for it. WCG is not run in conjunction with G4Box, the tournament organizers for that are simply using our CrossFire servers because that is the country in which they are sending a team. We have nothing to do with the choices WCG makes.
That being said, when we do know they will be using our servers so we take an active interest and help promote players, support people, broadcasters, prizes and more where we can.
CFS is a similar situation we are told by Tencent, you can bring a team from NA. From this perspective I believe it's an organizational and cost thing. They have a certain structure and this is what they want to do. We don't have any say in it, but are certainly going to expend our energies looking for the best team.
So hopefully that gives a quick insight into some stuff. We have not forgotten about UK players at all.
Thanks for your reply Saidin, I realise that allowing UK players to play at CF EU may not be simple.
And It's good that you are planning to create more tournaments in the UK servers, and this is good.
However, you see the thing is, all of europe, they can create teams together. And all of NA can create teams together.
So, I'm in a european team, but I can't compete for them and I can't compete for an NA team either. I just want to be able to play ESL with my team, my friends. It seems so unfair to be the only country left out in this.
I know I'm not the only one in this situation, there are many british players signed up at ESL, but not allowed to compete.
I hope something can be done in future.
It might not be as simple as flicking a switch, but it's not impossible. -

Excuse me spekk but you guys were not the first ones to use that server for scrims etc etc. Iori ramil bigi = all terrible and nothing else than pubstars. Suicide is ok but you guys did not create the scene at all. I am on Josh's side this time. There used to be way better so called oldschool uk scene players back then. From what I remember (and I did not play there a lot by then) simplicity got called pubstars by the actual teams even back then? -

You're a joke. Let me put this straight. My current account isn't my first account but let's not get into that. Secondly, none of the players you listed are old school UK players, none of them or you were around competing in the UK from 2009-2011 before the CF EU licensing happened. Maybe you were pubbing but you weren't in UK 3-8. Ever since the communities split up and people quit, I've been influencing people into playing there and now you're trying to take all the credit for it. Also, I never got "cut" from your team. I came back to CF after months out of boredom, played a few games (was playing embarrassingly bad on my other desk I do admit though), you saw me in a TD and decided to ask me to join your "team" I joined and barely played, came on every few days and then the team wasn't around any more.
Chris knows what he's talking about, he did come into the community late as an average player but in comparison to all the people you named he's a god. -

haha, 10 years of CF, are you dumb? I have played CS for ten years, yes. I have only been playing CF since 2009. And I dont care about your opinions about the supreme community, im not a moderator there so thats inappropiate to the post. You are ignoring the meaning of my post, and straight up hating on me. What I was trying to say is; The UK scene is big, and needs competition hosted by the admins of the game to survive, not players making cups. Thats not real competition. And -

Chris is known in E8 for being the one hosting headshot only rooms for people to warm up, not for a competetive player, so I really dont care about his opinion. I like him, but disrespect you after you called me a joke. My point of the post was that the UK server scene needs competition, so don't go after me on this. Not only that; I really dont care if you say you've been around longer than me, cuz I've played since day one and played scrims on uk server as since it started, and I dont remember seeing you around then. And, stop talking about you being better than me. You only came into the spotlight after you grouped up with Colombian, so dont even go there. -

That's when I came back to the game when Musti said come play NA with me. If you were actually around etc then prove it to me, name 10 oldschool competitive players from then, 4 good teams from then and two of the leagues we played back then. You didn't name any of the good teams from back then, you simply named pub star bad teams from the last 6 months (not from 3-4 years ago) and one team from CF EU. You also didn't name any of the old school players, the only thing you got right was WOGL. The reason I call you a joke is because you're lying about everything, or you just have a really bad sense of time. -

All names stated above above is from the beginning of the UK Scene. The cups stated above did take place with UK Scene players competing in them, from 2010. Check the rosters of the cup if you do not believe me. And about me lying about everything; NO. Do some research about the facts I just gave you and you'll see that I am right. Now stop typing in the forums if its not on-topic and /w me ingame instead. This is dumb. -

lets face it this version of cf really lacks real competition.. how are our best teams meant to improve facing the same few teams all the time?

First of all, he was just listing teams at the time not saying he was in them.
Second, Carbon did briefly have a UK team with Spekk and tyze in it. -

our best teams can improve even if they are only facing the same inferior teams over and over by practicing to their fullest
