Anyway, has there been any discussions or such on compensation for the downtime? Recently the downside has been compensated with a day/weekend of 100% more exp. I was wondering if the words "expand" and "GM event" has been mentioned at all?

o cool good news good luck on the fix and the rest of you settle down give them a break there workin s fast as possilbe 8 is a total different operating system then the others so it stands to reason there will be bugs ur playing a free game(for those who are saying nooo i spent zp...zzzz get over it its called life)so hush keep ur panties on and relax and hope the patch this evening works

Is it just the Windows 8 issue getting fixed, or both the win. 8 error and the client errors?
You did say that the issue might not be 100% fixable, but funny thing is that, almost any risk is not 100% fixable or preventable.
Hopefully, this will fix the major errors in the game, after waiting for 4 days!!!
And, I expect z8 staff to make an apology from this, and give us a decent compensation as a result of this. Like slaughter ticket's would be good. This could had been avoided if they tested their patches, and makes me wonder if they do enough testing to see if this could happen.
Side note: Windows Blue Build 9364 (or the next Windows OS) got leaked today. I hope that z8games will make the game compatible quicker once Windows Blue comes out to the public. (I will most likely test it out and tell you if it's playable or not) -

As announced, the maintenance is only going to be providing a fix so Windows 8 can be compatible with CrossFire once again. They have not released any other information regarding client errors. But I suppose that'll be given an answer to shortly as well.
On a side note, I just noticed that emergency is spelled wrong [as emergecy] in the title of the thread. -

This patch will fix only the windows8 issue as it's their top priority. Now there may be a chance in which the client errors do get fixed but don't count on it.
