Thought the patch was at 11pm. I was like dafuq when I d/c'd and couldn't get back on haha
We wanted to get this in as early as possible. Also because it gives us time to monitor it when the patch goes back live.
We're down now in case you hadn't noticed. The patch will happen automatically, please make sure to allow Cross Fire through your firewall and AV.
There is a possibility we will see "file is changed" errors involving CSHELL.dll. This will result in the need for you to reinstall Cross Fire.
We don't anticipate this happening, however it could and that is the best solution we have at the moment.
The SERVERS ARE STILL DOWN SO DON'T TRY TO DOWNLOAD. -

We have an internal test server. It saw no problems on all the machines we tested Windows 8 on.
Just because we are giving a warning about what COULD happen doesn't mean we don't test this stuff.
Instead of raging on the forums, maybe we could take a step back and a breather and realize that we're doing our best here to fix these problems as soon as possible. -

Totally lost track of the time. Was helping the wife finish her ribbon, she is at 993 minutes as of last update!
Then suddenly we are all walking on the spot, glance at my wife's screen no she is doing the moon walk too. OH right that update. I guess I should go to bed than I work in a few hours grrr.
