The first step to getting Windows 8 compatible with CF again begins tonight.

We will be taking the servers down tonight at 10pm EST for a short maintenance and a client patch to work on the Windows 8 issue.

We cannot guarantee 100% success at the time, but our tests have been very positive on the Windows 8 machines we have in house.

Start to patch on monday, that you have enough time to fix the errors, what we get with each patch. Also the client errors make the game unplayable...

Finally. I hope you fix everything(including the client errors) until the 30th. Would be really annoying to error out from our own room on the easter broadcast.

Thanks for the maintenance hopefully it'll fix it! I know I QQ-ed a lot for it since it feels like forever that I haven't played cf on my preciousssss computer! but yea thnx again work hard tonight to fix it!

on a side not; extended event? or a exp+ weekend or 1Gp/kill would satisfy me and im sure will satisfy a lot of windows8 users as well as everyone else

Your call tho im just suggesting it! since I lost a few temp items I wanted to use to their max capacity and so on with some zp items as well

He seems to be be calling you out on the different spellings in the Canadian Dictionary and the English one. He also seems to be saying some random insults which clearly don't add up about Canada and ZP sales.

Also seems that he is implying that Giggletron is an admin and has a lazy eye.

Anyway, has there been any discussions or such on compensation for the downtime? Recently the downside has been compensated with a day/weekend of 100% more exp. I was wondering if the words "expand" and "GM event" has been mentioned at all?
