Actually if the competitive community doesn't want the item, then it should be banned. Think about what you just said. If the mlb decided to put the base paths to 60'' you think the players would be like mutha fka thats dumb, and the mlb would be like, deal with it make your own league?

You would be an idiot to use the xm8, scarlight, or m12 at LAN. Any team who has played with 5 ping knows why. A certain gun destroys the rest to the point to where you are handicapping yourself to use something else. -

(My Team with have two players with XM8's in second bags. If the opposing team uses an XM8 we will pull one out. I'd rather not use them though) -

Too bad on LAN with 5 ping the AK dominates everything. -

nor I want to read all pages so.. I will just say my opinion to the video.
What Denxi said first was pretty much right. The timing is way off, you can't really compare them to one another in a video with normal speed, why no slow motion? Why didn't you get some speeds tested out?
Seriously.. if you wanna argue about rules.. well. I still think the M4 is a one-tap monster, the SL not. They may both are, but from my point of view nothing can touch the M4 in this part tbh.
If you really want to make a point, make a well-structured review with exact timings (trust me, I knoe how hard this is..), recorded with at least 120 FPS. There is a guide by GodsGunman in the guide section about how to determinate speeds in Vegas.

If I used any one of the Starred guns in e8 right now people would complain.
LOL, try using a g36k just for sh!ts and see how well you do, type 89 is decent about M4 ease of use level, XM8 is in the scar light tier, g36k is on par with the ak-74, pay attention -

XM8 comparison versus G36K
1. G36K deals more damage than the XM8.
2. G36K has a higher firing rate than the XM8.
3. G36K has a greater accuracy while scoped than the XM8.
4. G36K has a better cooldown time than the XM8.
5. XM8 reloads 0.3 seconds faster than the G36K.
Edit: All of this applies while players are moving, too. -

2. Yes, in fact the only rifle that shoots faster is the FAMAS.
3. Most people never use the scope on the g36k, most don't use the gun at all because the XM8 is easier.
4.By cool down I assume you mean recoil return rate? The G36k has recoil rivaling the AKs
The Xm8s barely jumps from bullet 1-2.

Like I've said before, I've used this gun for 3 years and I've done my homework. I know for a fact its terrible in comparison with the other weapons in the game. You can tell by the small amount of people that use it compared to the xm8, the xm8 is easy, so is the M4, AK, and all of its variants. you can tap easier with an AK than you can a g36k, and the accuracy is lower on the G36k than most other rifles. CQB is this weapons strong point, while long range is its weakness. It's real life counterpart is the exact opposite. -
