It won't. It and the Haswell refresh(possibly if Intel can't get 14nm ready) coming next year will use LGA 1150 but is electrically different from the current 1150 socket so you will need a new motherboard.AwfulFallout wrote: »will broadwell be soldered to motherboards?
AMD has already given up with competing in the mid-high end CPU market. They're only focusing on making APUs now with Steamroller FM2+ APUs coming in Q4 2013. -
What to do?
i am using a dell laptop, windows 7 core i5. I've used this computer for 2 years now and just recently my fps dropped to 20, each loading time ( start game, end game results, starting up cf) takes few minutes. What should i do? i am no computer genius. Should i just buy new computer???? -

when did it start?
did you install anything around the time it started?
what solutions have you tried so far? -
How much Memory RAM you have? Has anti malware and spyware installed to scan your pc program?
Installed memory (RAM) 4.00GB

It started just a week ago, CF is the only game i have downloaded.

test it out with other games suck as csgo, or free games such as APB, don't spend $500 just to play this crappy game, idiot. -
I wanna buy a new PC, that has over 100 FPS in every room on CrossFire. Right now I got like 40 FPS or less on my laptop lel. So what should I buy, what parts? I wanna bulid a computer on my own and it needs to be fast and able to play the most games with a high FPS.

Asked this in the cf eu forum as well, guess it's as I've been told caused by cf not being up to date for the maxwell cards, but probably someone here has an idea..
The game runs with about 100-230 fps, dropping down to 0-10 very often and on dinner theatre for example I sometimes have like 13 fps for some entire rounds.
CPU: i5 3350p
GPU: gtx 970 3.5gb (:/)
8GB ram gddr 2 (I think)
All other games run without problems, got 80+ fps in far cry 3 on ultra, 100+ fps in crysis 2 ultra and 300-400 in cs go, while cf is way belove my expectations and its freezing very very often.
Anything I can do about this? -

cuz I can for example maximize everything to get a high-end PC and that will cost you a lot for sure. -

Play in low resolution,16 bit etc

i got this windows 8.1 64-bit
intel core i5-4210CPU @min-1.70ghz/max-2.70ghz , 12,0 gb ram intel HD graphics family GeForce GT840M(2gb)
i had frist 8 gb ram but i did add a 4 gb ram from my old laptop
ps it's a HP Pavilion 15-p088nd it's in EU like €650,-/€700,-
i got in game now with highest resolution 150-200 fps. -
IDK if this thread is still active but I really want higher FPS on my computer (bought it for $600 off my local best buy) because my FPS is really low and I want to increase it but a good 50 or 100. Can someone tell me what I need to buy/upgrade? (im using hp. THANKS!)
