BadMonkey, you regard everyone who continuously disagrees with you as being offensive. That is why you are so easily offended.
You have completely disregarded the fact that multiple people have pointed out to you that the word filter is not just blocking swear words, but also word combinations that it recognizes as swear words.
You have completely disregarded the fact that this flaw in the system will lead to an equal number of innocent victims as guilty ones. Your reply to those facts is "You are wrong", and then you continue repeating yourself as if we didn't hear you the first time.
You keep falling back of MW3 and CSS, which are both PAY 2 PLAY games, which can afford to install the best of the best systems. Crossfire does NOT have EVEN a 10th of the money both these games can waist on perfecting their swear filtering system.
It's nice that you make pictures of my post to quote me, but it would be nicer still if you quoted everything, and not just the part that suits you in your need to feel offended. You brought up religious people and I gave you a line regarding debating with religious people, and pointed out that you debated in a similar fashion. If you feel insulted by that, THEN TOUGH! GROW A THICKER SKIN, KID!
You are indeed constantly boohooing about people attacking you, while in fact ALL of these people are just losing their patience with you, your thick-headness and the way you try to shove your crappy ideas down their throats, because you believe that YOU are right and THEY are wrong. You can't blame them for posting a little less nice to you, if you treat their opinions like crap, kid. And that IS what you are doing. But when people point that out to you, you play the innocent victim and ask them to point out where you did something wrong, while all you have to do is look at your last post.
If someone can curse 10 times an get banned, then someone can post word combinations that get picked up by the swear filter 10 times and get banned. Both will get banned as equals, without a moderator reviewing their case to see whether or not the ban is fair. A ban that will lead to innocent people losing one of their ribbons.
You say you guaranty that this won't happen and rebut this. But where are your guarantees, kid? You have none! You base all your so called know-how on playing 2 games that only have 1 thing in common with Crossfire, and that is that all 3 are FPS games. THAT IS IT! -

You are wrong here. I did not just say, "You are wrong" and then continued writing. I said that we (the z8games team) should change the filter system so it doesn't recognizes legit words as swear words.

The word filter in both CSS and MW3 are made by the community. The games itself don't have a word filter at all. The users made those filters.
The users who made those filters didn't got paid for their job and they also don't have money to hire people to do that job. Z8games earn a lot of money and it shouldn't be a problem to hire some guy that can fix this.
And those free to play games make a lot of money too. We have a lot of people here that pay more then 500$ on ZP. And they keep paying because new stuff is added to the game.

First off all, you can always send in a ticket and say that you got kicked for the wrong reason if this should really happen but it wont.
As I said above, I had/have servers running those filters and no one got ever banned for doing a wrong thing. I have experience in this, I know what I am talking about.

That was just a normal room, everybody can create one of those rooms. You are actually not the admin of those rooms, you can't just ban them too. You are just a normal user like everybody else here. -
Just going to throw it out there amidst all the personal attacks that are going on that need to STOP *hint hint*.
This is all assuming that even with the 'perfect system' that CF's coding will allow it to run the game efficiently. It's old. Very old. Which is also what sets it apart from many others with better filters.
Even something as minor as Font can change the performance of the game. Which is why just injecting a code isn't always the best idea, especially with the high population within the servers.
In my personal opinion, I don't think its possible. Especially since it would have to be constantly updated with words and different languages that it'd just be too over the top. -

You must've wasted six hours in your life writing all this out in this thread. Simply said, no one is forcing you to play a bad game. No one is forcing you to do anything. It's like a restaurant. Say you go to Burger King, and it's filthy, and dirty and your meal is pure horse ****, you won't go back. You still want fast food, cause your pro and lazy like that, so you go to a much better restaurant ex. Wendy's. And if you don't like that one go to another. If you don't like ANY restaurant make your own ****ing restaurant and see how hard it is. Now think of those last sentences involving crossfire and other online FPS.
Crossfire NA has so many more places where it can be patched and fixed it's not even funny. Banned for swearing? You know how much of a disaster that would become? Everyone will be false banned at least once a week. False banning is garbage and no fun.

I also said many times to check the other word filters or just use the old one. We had a word filter sometimes ago too, and that one only filtered bad words. Do you wonder why people say wdf? Because wtf was banned some time ago. It's unbanned now.
The current filter works kinda like this:

The Unreal Engine is pretty old too, but look how beautiful it looks.
Even cs 1.6 has a word filter with punishment system. People that swear get banned or lose like 50 hp. CS 1.6 is way older then cf.
I don't understand why this should stop the word filter from working? Old games are not that good but a word filter should work. I mean we already have a word filter, it's just not working the right way. Yes I would understand it if you'd said that we can't haw an flamethrower because this game is to old. The only thing that bugs me atm is the swearing and the lag.

I'm going to drop one last nuke on your idea, the first amendment of the US constitution says you can't ban US players for saying whatever they want to say.
The US Constitution doesn't have grounds on a game located in Canada or even further with the developers in South Korea.
Nor can a government document affect what goes on with a Private Company and their decisions, to a certain extent. -

False reasoning is false. FoS isn't in Z8Games ToS, which you agreed to. No one forced you to sign up for CF.

Either people get banned for accidentally swearing due to an over-protective censor, or people dodge the censor making your suggestion work for less than a day.
We can have both of them. Have you ever seen the word filter in the other games I named? They work in those games too so why should they work in cf? All we need is a good filter. -

The current filter works kinda like this:
T*E*S*T and that's why the filter also censors normal words.
I agree with you on that.
The Unreal Engine is pretty old too, but look how beautiful it looks.
Even cs 1.6 has a word filter with punishment system. People that swear get banned or lose like 50 hp. CS 1.6 is way older then cf.
I don't understand why this should stop the word filter from working? Old games are not that good but a word filter should work. I mean we already have a word filter, it's just not working the right way. Yes I would understand it if you'd said that we can't haw an flamethrower because this game is to old. Those fire effects are not easy to create but a simple wort filter should work.
Is it really impossible, or just to hard to create? I think it is simply to hard but not impossible.
If it's not going to happen, then it is not going to happen, there is nothing I can change about it, I just want to make sure that it is not impossible.

When did I say that this game is bad or is not worth playing? I just suggested a word filter that bans users who swear. I don't understand why they game is bad without it.
Yes no one is forcing you to do anything, but once you pay you have some rights. Also I am one of the paying customers and I say what I want in the game.
This is like saying,
"Hey the hotel in which I was, was pretty bad." "Ohh then why don't you open up your own hotel?"
And by the way, there are a lot of free games that are not bad at all.
The only thing that bugs me atm is the swearing and the lag.
I'm already used to the lag. I don't think that everyone would be banned once a week. Once the filter is changed of curse.
And once all the swearing is banned we have a lot more fun.
the 4chan filter was just an example. I said that we could replace the "???" with nice words like they did on 4chan sometime ago.
It was like this:
what he write:
"OP is a fa****"
what 4chan changed it into:
"OP is a nice person"
As I said before, I don't remember the exact words.

To be honest, this thread is pointless. Anon keeps on mentioning to "fix the system so that it bans people" yet he has no actual suggestion to make the system detect ways to bypass it. No matter what you do, there will be some way to bypass the system, whether it be adding an extra vowel or more periods.
There is no surefire way to make all swearing impossible, yet Anon seems to think that it's possible.
