I hate people who can't just say: "Hey, that's a good point. I guess I was wrong."
Instead they ignore the solid arguments against their idea and continue repeating themselves, and frame it as if they are actually making counter-arguments. When they aren't at all. Then they fall back on "You're attacking me personally and that's WRONG!" arguments. When the criticisms aren't actually personal AT ALL. You're just sad and have NOTHING.
Kids....one day in life you may learn that it's ok to have a bad idea and admit it. You will come off a lot cooler and people will respect you despite your faults.
It's ok to be wrong, as long as you can own up to it. Don't get all butthurt and defensive. It just makes you look dumber. -

It doesn't. There are some other points that weren't said in the title. The title doesn't says that the limit only counts for 30 minutes and it also doesn't says that you get banned after saying 10 of the words. Those are important facts. The title also doesn't says anything about improving the filter system.Do you really think they are capable of that? First off they can't really do much of anything correctly. They have not even added simple HTML to the website to add new guns.
Also the word filter list has to be added by the devs.
The developers might look a little bit lazy and stupid sometimes but that's wrong. They don't do it because they don't want to, not because they can't it. You should keep in mind that they are earning a lot of money, if they'd be just a bunch of loser they wouldn't earn any money.
I am sure they can make a better filter.Like 8 per day and sometimes when I try to say something it is blocked multiple times, sometimes 4-5 times in a row even when trying to evade the filter by adding dots in the end I just say "oh f** it" and it's not filtered:D
That would take you over the limit.
Once the filter is improved it doesn't matters. But even if it's not, you can just be more careful.Then why bother? And can't you handle being called a "noob"? besides that saying "noob" is not swearing.

Again a personal attack that is simply wrong. If I had posted that I would be banned. You do nothing but blame me thinks I don't do. Quote my posts in which I did what you just said.
Because I give counter arguments. Here is a example.
He said that the filter would ban legit players too. My counter argument was to improve the filter system. Many games have filter systems and they work good and in the beginning the filter system wasn't that bad at all. The z8 team could just use the old filter system or bring out a new one.

Anyway lets stay on topic, I know some games that have those filters and they work good. Like Modern Warfare 3. in MW3 you get a PERMANENT ban after the third swear word and no one ever got banned for saying something that wasn't a swear word. Actually Z8 is personally responsible for the website (not the devs) and it is them that won't update the gun guides and so on, in fact they really don't do that much with things that actually matter. Do you really believe they even do anything with the best and most fundamental suggestions that would improve the game for many?
Gun guides matter to new users, website content matters to new users after-all it's often those things that enable them to make the next step to download the game and then to a active become a player and potential customer - Which makes money.
Improving things doesn't make them losers or impact profits it's the exact opposite.
Z8 also loses money because they don't listen to common sense take the 30 ribbon thing for example, people actually spend ZP to get the 20 ribbons, don't they? I don't see how this would help, I mean even if it affects their gameplay IDC, When they are complaining they are typing = Free kill.
And they can evade the filter regardless so it solves nothing.
I would actually support removing the entire filter as it's useless, annoying, inhibits communication and even if everyone was swearing it still wouldn't affect my life.
What I would like to see though is a no chat option as constant spam distracts players sometimes, this would also be good for those politically correct, whining belly-aching players that get offended by swear words too. -

Obviously it isn't worth it. You should keep in mind that they have all the bills in front of them, they see how they earn money and how they don't. Well I know quiet a few who bought the spop for the ribbon.I don't see how this would help, I mean even if it affects their gameplay IDC, When they are complaining they are typing = Free kill.
Free Kill = Bad -> I want a good game, not a easy game.And they can evade the filter regardless so it solves nothing.
You can still report them with screenshots. But most of them will stop swearing anyway after they retrieved their first warning.You guys are still arguing with him?

Have you ever talked to a religious person? They will defend what they believe is true and I am doing the same because I know that this will improve the game.

This is an FPS game, someone will lose and cuss no matter what and you want them to be banned for being bad? Yu sicken me kid
+ Why should we even be banned when the filters block it out already... And if something like this is considered, think of how many DECENT people CF would lose. -1

This is a game, and is treated like one, people have to let stress go, which is why they get on video games, so letting off some steam cussing and playing a game, is only a natural response for about all gamers haha

Yea you are right on that but what you all forget is that the rules say that we are not allowed to insult other players. I didn't make those rules, those are the rules made by the developers and whoever breaks those rules deserve to get banned. -

That was a personal attack. You don't have the right to attack me. You are free to criticize my posts. You can say: "Hey, that post was total Bull**** because [...]." That's totally okay but you can't say something like "You are stupid" because in that case you attack me.
This is a forum and it's point is to discuss, but not to attack other people.

You can't decide if something was offensive or not, only the attacked person can decide about that. It's like hitting someone and then saying that it wasn't that bad. You can't say if it was bad or not, only the person who got hit can decide about that.
But even if it wasn't that bad, you are not allowed to attack someone at all, doesn't matter how bad it is.

But yes some improv fail but Most indeed work. So i warn them that it can cause them to be ban. & yes some tell me that they didn't know.
