what do you know about practice?
when you pretend to be other people do you magically gain their experience as well?
Practice: Perform (an activity) or exercise (a skill) repeatedly or regularly in order to improve or maintain one's proficiency.

Sorry mate, you are wrong as usual.
ESL held a cup, not a league.
Might want to brush up on your google definitions. -
As long as the match times are negotiable I see no reason for not having more matches. Most of the teams that are active right now spend at least an hour per day (although it's a lot more than that for most).
Two matches a week (one map each) shouldn't be a problem if teams actually want to play their games. -

Doop you hate us for the fact that you think no other mode is competitive. You rage and make a fool out of yoursel, for example "I can't hear you"
Your mad for the very fact that another mode might become just as or more important than your classic snd, that you have trained so hard for. You denounce anything that they consider unfit, cuz its all you know. -

I'm not mad, more or less disappointed. I hardly ever rage, people who play with me often will attest to that. As for making a fool of myself, it's funny that even though I am so foolish, people always message me for input or discussion on things.
Another misconception, I don't actually hate ghost mode players. I respect/admire a lot of the ghost mode players. I just think you, icey/slurpee/slushy (I have no idea which one you are) are a huge ****ing joke. A bunch of ghost mode players seem to agree with me.
If there is a ghost mode league with good prizes, LPK will most likely play it.
As for ghost mode over taking S&D, you are quite delusional. In 3 years there has been 2 events. I mean [CCC] had more prizes than both the ghost mode events combined.
1) March of the ghosts which had a grand prize of 20k ZP.
No one even came close to beating pan[th]ers. Rather embarrassing.
2) A random ESL ghost mode cup
Hardly anyone even played. I believe there were more forfeits than actual matches played.
You guys are definitely challenging the balance of power in competitive cf.

S&D Prizes: close to $50,000
GM Prizes: 20k ZP -

esea - esport entertainment association
They have hosted leagues & cups. Yet they don't have league in their name, guess it doesn't count right. -

ESL has league in their name, because leagues are their main events.
cups & tournaments =/= leagues, even if they are held by a company who has "league" in their name.
real world example: UEFA cup and UEFA champions league -

A league lasts longer, and is hosted more.
Really the only "leagues" snd has had was: WCG, and WOGL one of those which is dead (you can figure that out).
GM: now has a new league, that talon said he will be hosting much as possible.
esea has nothing to do with cf. -

WCG is not a league, where do you get this **** from -
No, what separates a league from a cup/tournament is the format. Didn't you play in the special force world championships, I'd expect you to know the difference.
Doop anything else?? -

A league has weekly matches (a regular season) spanning an extended period of time and is sorted by tiers and divisions. Tiers are the different levels of play; ie: Open, Main, and Invite. Divisions are normally broken down by location or randomized. ie: West, Central, East or Alpha, Bravo, etc. At the conclusion of the regular season the top ranked (either by record or some index) teams are seeded into a playoff. The playoff is normally a tournament in either double or single elimination form.
A cup is a mini tournament (designed to have quick turn around) very similar in nature to the playoffs of a "league". There is no regular season, and seeding is normally randomized. The Go4LoL and Go4SC2 events in ESL are great examples. They are normally over within a week/week end.
Large international competitions tend to follow a "Group League" to bracket play system. The teams participating in the tournament will be assigned into groups. The groups will play each other to determine seeding on day 1. Normally only 1 or 2 teams from a group will advance to bracket play. Day 2 will be the bracket round, and Day 3 will normally have the finals and 3rd place match.
A ladder is another form of competition where teams are rated on points. LoL soloqueue and Starcraft 2 are prime examples of a ladder system.
