So what if CF is a free to play game, EVERYONE outside NA and UK are NOT ment to play so be greatful that you allowed a final chance, if it was my decision, i would have blocked everyone outside NA and UK without hesitation, wether they brought ZP or not.

there are top of free-to-play games out there that have been ip restricted for years so this is nothing new.

Please note currently our license is for North America and the UK.

Also note, that foreign newcomers (no matter where you are from) are not actually banned. IP restrictions (server side) prevents them from loading in to the game in the first place.


Lastly note that while this may seem to some like an opportunity to make a million hack related accounts, it is also an opportunity to get the word out to legitimate players. There's nothing worse than being in a game with established characters and missing out on an opportunity to play with your friend because they are located somewhere else.

While notice like this could have come last minute, we have said this is going in soon. So you can expect IP restrictions for various places soon. But not immediately which might allow legitimate players the opportunity to get started (or continue) with their friends. Legitimately.


There will be plenty of information coming on all the specifics and restrictions that are going on. But this is an opportunity to reach out to the gamers and the fans with some information now so everyone has time to prepare for change.

Everyone other version of Cross Fire restricts people outside of their own region. Look at CF Korea / China. They are THE most successful versions of this game. Seems like it worked just fine for them.

nope, as soon as they log in using a IP other then UK/NA, wont be able to get into the game.
