As with all things, in testing the ribbons were fine, but we're seeing some minor things that will be corrected. This system is brand new, just roll with it for a while!

Commendations are awarded to players accounts in the form of Ribbons and will be given when the player meets a certain requirement, for example having a certain item, playing in a certain game winning an event etc.
Ribbons are displayed on your Profile Page on the Clan Page of the Cross Fire website. They are bands of color in the style of military achievements (with some fun liberties taken by us of course!). To see what the achievement name is, simply roll your mouse over the Ribbon. Additionally you can click the Ribbons which takes you to the Ribbon Guide Page which shows more details.
Your Profile is displayed on the Clan Page: http://clan.z8games.com.
Initially we have released 10 + 1 bonus Ribbon, more will be released in the future. Over time, Ribbons have the potential to unlock things for your account. Special sales in the mall, Features on our Community Forums and maybe even win you free and permanent items! Some Ribbons will be fun, some will be serious, some are going to be easy to get and some are going to be one-time exclusive ribbons!

Ribbons are going to be more than just the badge reward system. They will let you show off your community participation in more ways than just "get 50 kills".
The Ribbon system presents some further loading times for the Clan Page. Your first time viewing ribbons may take 20-30 seconds to show up. After you have loaded your ribbons you should see them faster.
New Ribbons will be updated as you achieve them and will be displayed on your profile page when the clan page updates (usually once per day). Don't panic if you don't see your ribbons right away!
Ribbon Rewards will be added to the account when the player goes to the page and loads the "winning" ribbon. For example, if you collect 10 ribbons and go to your Profile Page, the 11th Ribbon will load. When that ribbon has loaded you will get the prize!
Further awards and prizes will be coming, and they will be displayed on the guide page.
So go check out your Clan Profile and see how many ribbons YOU have!

I like the ribbon idea but they dull looking I wish they were more creative like these ones exept customize it to look simlar to pervious ones

Question
Hmmm.
Just one important question.
For the Gun Hobbyist achievement where you have to collect more than 15 permanent weapons, does M16 and M700 count towards that goal? And what about Permanent Combat Axe?
Someone PM me the answer if you know.

I just checked and I just got the acheivement for it. lol
I'm still not sure if M16, M700, or perma still counts though, cause now another question poped up in my mind and that is:
Does it count towards the ribbon for the weapons you previously sold in the past?

Unfortunately, that is your fault. Once you chose a faction side, it cannot be reversed.
There was an event not long ago where they reseted everyone's faction and they can re-choose again. But you cannot undo it now. lol sorry. -

o.O i changed my side before. it was way back then. i forgot how but it was a month or so after they came out with the rival factions. maybe they removed it but it was there.
