Shotguns buffs

I think crossfire need a shotgun buff, because i've already saw a police officer getting shot by a 12 gauge, he was wearing a bulletproof jacket, well, he dindn't died, but he had a concussion, and 4 broken ribs. (he was shot from like 20 meters away .-.)

close range here = standing in the face of the enemy
real life close range = like 15~30 meters

in real life, a well placed shot to the heart with a m9 is a instant kill shot...

Has anyone here bought a shot gun on cf?
I bought a spas and it is BAD.
They definitely need a buff.
The shotguns might be 2 shot kill, but the other assault rifles are almost 2 shot kill and they fire quick. And have good range. And reload fast.

The M16 is relatively good for long range if you do burst with it.
It is good for medium range esp. if you crouch.
And it is good for short range because you can continuously shoot and hit them if you are really close and just about all your bullets will hit.

The spas however is bad for long range. (btw spas is supposed to be one of the best shotguns)
Bad for medium range.
And OK for close range. It is still pretty easy for someone with any other gun to kill me. Aren't shotguns supposed to be the most powerful guns at close range? It would be swell if Z8 could buff the shottys:D

The spas needs more damage and more range and. And all other shotguns.The spas isn't worth 45000 at the moment. Z8 notice this PLZZZZZZ

I like Crossfire and i think it is fun. But the shotguns just arent' very good and i don't think they are worth the dorras.

I can perform consistently with the XM1014, it's a great gun. You should trade your spas for one. The spread is tighter and it's ROF is faster. Oh and if you're in the mood to blow some ZP get the XM1014-A. It's badass, I can kill someone from a tremendous distance with that monster.

Thanks for the advice. I think i will switch my spas. But is the XM1014 any easier to kill people at close range than any other automatic gun?

Well if you think of crossfire like this.
EVERYONE wears body armour.
ZP buyers get better body armour.
Its reasonably realistic
However new technology has enabled shovels to acquire a razer sharp diamond tipped edge which can somehow slice through your armour
