Who do you think is the best Knife clan ?

I was just looking for you to admit you have no knowledge of the mode, because you don't. Making your opinion on the subject worth spit. I'm not sure how you got to be a moderator but you are fairly immature. Then again making fun of something is always what children revert to when they don't know what they're talking about, which is all the time.
Plenty of knowledge of the mode. Waiting for you to prove me otherwise, so far it looks like just a bunch of kids that thinks that being good at SnD or EM knife is actually impressive. Show me how impressive it can be and I may consider giving it some props. Since so far, none have displayed any different than the typical gameplay of knifing, my opinion still stands.
Considering all you got is screenshots, your opinion doesn't mean spit either. Plus seen enough losses on your team from non-knifers to see enough.
Seems like you know little about anything about what a mod does, can do, or whatnot. I'm subject to my own opinions, and I plan on expressing them. -
Tell me the 2 best ways to play on the 2 stack boxes in 1v1 arena knife only.
1. Why would you merely stay on those boxes when you can have other options to strike?
2. How does 1v1 show skill? It's been noted that 5v5 is where the real competitive scene comes in. Taking out 1 guy is different than having to worry about 4 on top of that.
But I suppose to answer your question is to;
Remain in the middle ground and never be caught underneath. Crossfire is backwards in thinking where elevation in melee is actually a disadvantage. People from below can take you out at the legs and aim easier. A knife stab from below allows an easier gut 1 hit kill, whereas they would need to maneuver more to make up for their lack of reach. With any melee weapon its easier to take someone out from below than from above.
Also, abusing jump registration, hopping over the boxes on the other side allows you to not only get the jump on an opponent, but also allow you to take the shot and obviously take less damage since it would be very unlikely for them to do a fatal stab. Since the boxes are limited for movement unless you move off of them, footwork is limited. Because of such I generally wouldn't prefer it. -
It was like you had no idea what I was saying. Your response wasn't even to my question. Have you ever even played a 1v1 arena? Much of what you said is actually incorrect.
I think i have my proof.
Then enlighten me WHAT you meant then.
Also, prove how you would do it then. You haven't gotten any proof really.
I don't play 1v1 arena's usually, and when I do its usually to teach people how to bunny hop or pub knife kills since thats all I see the usefulness of the mode for. -
1v1 arena knifes only 13 round elimination
Your opponent is only playing on and around the 2 stack boxes, what do you do?
Already mentioned the tactics used against the boxes. The high ground is a disadvantage in any melee situation. So I'd take advantage of their poor positioning.
If they feel like camping the boxes, I'll let them. Most people get impatient and do something stupid. If I feel my tactics won't work, I'll let them come to me on my terms.
What's your method then? -
Not always true. Kumba has a sliding stab move across the top that always gets a one hit kill.
Control of your movement from the ground to the boxes and back is the most important part in a situation like I stated. I like to use the small step closest to the spawn that allows you to get to the top. It lets me see the entire field of play without exposing myself to attack. Baiting from the top then moving below works wonders. Most of the kills are going to come from ground level though. You simply have to wait for your opponent to lose his flow of movement when he gets caught between boxes and move in.
Dropping from a box onto an opponent will always get you a one hit kill if you have any aim at all. A gut stab does not result in a one hit so attacking from below is only good when your enemy is a bad player. If you drop from the top of the boxes properly it will actually give you better position.
Sliding stab? Would have to show me what you mean by that. A bit skeptical if its really a sliding one and not just poor melee reg.
Dropping and jumping do not factor into the survivability of being higher ground for the example I stated. I already mentioned air reg always works in your favour. Any person who even plays GM knows this. Attack from above to below in a standard position while is possible, does leave you exposed.
Controlling your footwork is the key to most knife matches for your timing. If you can't predict when an enemy is within reach when you attack or even to avoid their own, you will fail.
Knife stab stats are as follows usually;
Head - Kill
Chest - 90
Stomach - Kill
Legs - 59ish
This does not include armor. -

wow west server!!!!! real would own you in alpha xD! -
Wrong mode. As I said this earlier knife does not play the same as other modes.
Stab damages are
head neck chest 100
others 90 77 59 50
A weapon's damage doesn't change just because of a mode. I've gotten tons of lethal 1 hit stabs without hitting the head. The chest area is the most resistant next to the legs. The stomach is the weakest and where the fatal stab comes in on the downward strike. Sometimes this happens even when you pass through the chest to reach the stomach. Chest and neck are 90. Essentially you treat a knife the same as a Dragunov, aim for the stomach or the head unless you can get a quick slash to finish off the opponent.thebigkumba wrote: »oh my if that was a actual 1v1 id be impressed, but the fact that he never fought me straight up he just ran for 2 mins then would slash me and let time run out.If you also notice its in west where i have 100 ping and hes got 30.By putting that pic up prime it makes you look bad.And lolwha is ts.
Judging by the score, he might have only did that once, since he has 12 kills (12 rounds won) leaving only 1 out. So its not like he did so the entire match. Besides, in any competition, its not kills that win you the game, its the wins. -
