Debate About the Price of the Wide Grenade.
Well the Wide Grenade is 2000 BP atm. It includes a 7-Day Wide Grenade + 7-Day C4 Here Spray.
As you may know BP is just a free "perk" when you buy zp. Although if you look at the price of the wide grenade as to the permanent weapons, you can clearly see it's overpriced. ( ESPECIALLY for a trial.) The most baffling thing about the price is what you get out of it. A 7-Day item lasts about at most 1/3 of the time due to the game still ticking the timer on your trial even when you're away. Also don't even get me started on the friggin spray...-_-
The wide grenades price of 2000 BP would'nt be so bad if you just were given more time to utilize it. A reasonable trial period for it is at least 30 or 90 days...I mean c'mon. :rolleyes:
Maybe Z8 will consider changing the price if we keep this a good clean debate and not full of insults and poor grammar

I dont find wide grenade particually great.I did just purchase it initially for 1week(i have 9000bp points).Incidentally after purchasing wide grenade i logged on and played,the wide grenade was in my inventory but not the spray...strange.It does not bother me but maybe Z8 should look into this to see if there is a still a problem.

I think it's OK like this. They could like change it to like 10-14 days. it's too cheap for a 30-Day item. It's a nice thing to get while you're waiting for a new perm BP weapon (like a year)
Well the thing is if people stock up on the wide nades, it'll just diminish their chances of getting a good bp weapon in the future. (If we ever do...) -

OK think it was on topic like i said i think nade is just average and for 2000bp will just use it for a week and will not stack it.Better to wait for new gun or in 2020 will buy crates with my Bp whichever comes sooner.Also guess as spray part of package,which i havent received then i guess its a fail. -
I wouldn't waste my BP on it even if it was 30-90 days, because eventually, it'll expire, and I'll be down a shatload of BP.
Anyway, I barely ever use grenades, don't see why this is such a great deal, might as well buy a 7day AWMC + Blue fire.
edit: I highly doubt z8 is going to change the pricing/days, just because 20 (WAYYY less that 0.1% of the games population) people are unhappy about it. -

Well in all honesty all sections of the forums are dead except barracks. Off-Topic & Weapons & Gear are the last ones holding on for dear life...All the threads that are worthwhile and have a good flow of conversation get moved to off-topic, cause they're most likely not about crossfire. (SeewhatIdidthar?) So really the threads that are thought to complain are really the only ones that acquire real attention anymore. Am I lying? -

Unfortunately we won't be changing the price for this grenade today.
As with anything, the number 2000 wasn't arbitrarily picked out of a hat. The price was set like that for a reason.
While we understand that it's only 7 days (for one purchase) and we understand that there will be people who don't have the BP for this purchase. The item still "stacks" for those who have the BP to spend.
And its an opportunity to use stored up BP on something that's bonus and exclusive. Considering the grenade is only available once through a badge reward this item is pretty rare. We may have other plans for higher "day" versions or may be we will just continue using 7 day versions. We haven't made any decisions like that yet.
Not every sale, or promotion or event is going to please everyone. Just throwing out permanent wide grenades for free to everyone that plays the game is not feasible or logical. This was an opportunity to show off the grenade for a wider audience using what are essentially free points to get.
