Started my clan April of this year. I happen to enjoy the game, as do other clan members. Only real issue I've seen is the quick call on "OMFG HACK!!11!!"...meh. Some of our members have played these types of games since these types of game came into existence...which is longer than some players have been alive. :P
That said, we've got some folks that could be considered 'pro', a bunch of us who, when we're 'on' get the heck out of the way and when we're 'off' enjoy the free kills, and the rest are getting up to speed.
We tend to use Teamspeak for com and are usually bs'n back and forth having fun while running around shooting and getting shot at. -

If I get killed i don't like it but I don't rage. I say "Dam!" and that's it. Its true not every Brazilian hacks, but almost every lagger/hacker/glitcher is a Br. Brs rage then kick us. Brs hate us for having low pings. I've seen some hackers that aren't Brazilian but every time i see one, they're called
Pedro or something. Brs just think they're the owners of the game period. Its good CA made a game just for you. Less Brs in our servers the better in my opinion. -

What seriously happened to this community, nowadays. I myself have quit CF, but may play a few years from now. Before, the community had hackers, and people united in a very organized, friendly way to stop hacking, and thus the PUB was started. People curse naturally, but we all had a blast with jokes while HAVING FUN on CF. Now, when I read forums for the hell of it and I'm bored, everything is so serious, and people get very disrespectful over small subjects or highly controversial topics posed in a nice way.
I have 2 examples:
1. There is going to be some fool who comes in and says: "QQ thread nub. Thread close plox. GG."
Heres my response: 1. I'm not a noob. I used to be part of the old TEAM FUZZ that was actually GOOD back then and didn't have farmers and hac.kers constantly raising their rank. I was part of the small and elite iTeam, which disbanded and reformed as ROFL Gaming, which I was a part of before I quit. I believe they disbanded and now are "We1Click" or something like that. So, I am not qithout my level of skill. 2. This is not a QQ thread. This is a serious question I am posting. A forum/community should be lively and helpful, not utterly rude and should be free of infinitesimal minds. There are people who do contribute greatly, and I thank them very much for making the world that much better of a place.
2. Someone (I wont name) posted a thread asking why the scar light is considered to be uncompetitive and "nooby". I saw many rude, abrupt responses, such as:
"He's probably a noob QQ about why his fave gun is so hated" OR
"cause its OP, you loser".
Sadly, no one answered his question adequately. I have posted a response on page... 16 or 17... was it? I completely explain why it is considered OP but i remain neutral, and any assumptions I make, I state them. I separate facts, opinions, and assumptions into categories.
Now... i'm on the topic of assumptions.
The main reason this community is so rude and belligerent is because they assume too much. for example:
"OMG 12-2... such a hac.ker. f11 nubs, he *** so hard..." ~~~My response: "If the guy is spinning or clearly shooting through walls with an insane degree of accuracy, then he must have chamms or aimbot. If he has a headset, a mic, and clanmates, hes on vent listening, analyzing, predicting, and compiling information to help guarantee his greatest degree of success."
or:
Look at the noob QQ example above with the scar light thread I talked about. Maybe this person just wants to know. Maybe he is QQ. Maybe he isn't set on buying the SL. Maybe this person is just intelligent.
Seriously people, assuming is bad. It gets people into many "debacles" and the innocent get caught in the CrossFire (pun intended).
That massive box of text is what I have to say. So, why are we so messed up?
* I only want answers from people who read the whole thread, as those too lazy to read this thread are too lazy to formulate an adequate answer. (In short terms, it's like taking a test without any knowledge of the subject.)

Every time any post is made using reasoned arguments and intelligence and then some 'idiot nooby raging kid' comes and says.
"fail thread, is fail thread"
"QQ"
"Close thread plox"
"That wouldn't work - fail"
Those above responses are nothing more that spam and the posters should be given an infraction.
There is no response, no arguments for or against - just idiotic spam. -
i play in west coast most of the time and i dont see many hack.ers, let alone many BR hack.ers. when it comes down to it, if you give an 15 yr old american kid an wall hack, he will be just as quick to using it as a 15 yr old BR kid. same goes for the UK kids, canadian kids and so on. the same concept applies for glitching. i think the main issue is as the thread creator mentioned, level of maturity. most kids, when they get killed, they automatically assume the person who killed them is hacking. without typing a 500 word argument, i will just conclude with that the best way to avoid all this excess biching is just to play in select servers and channels. like alpha 7 or west coast 1, avoid delta server

Alpha 7 - Better than some other servers/channels. But doesn't stop BR's from going in there. It's just as bad with all the other foreign players that go in there with high ping. Your example of a "solution" is still not very good.
West Coast 1 - Only somewhat helps if you're on the West Coast. Not a total solution.
Like I said before, HOPEFULLY CrossFire US will eventually close their servers and auto-sort ping difference. That's the only solution. We just have to wait. Patience becomes a HUGE virtue at this point. -
Im with you man. Cross Fire's still fun, with all the new updates and stuff as well as mutation mode, but sometimes i miss closed beta, when the majority of players actually played without whining, showed good sportsmanship, and didnt hack. Plus guys, it isnt fair to judge an entire race, calling all BR's hacker and not giving a decent BR a chance is just plain racist. I've played at least 3 diff fps games where a large population of BR's almost ruined the game, so dont start screaming how BR's all hack and that im stupid.
2nd, like someone else said, this game is now filled with a bunch of screaming and whining little kids that set "F11 for free zp" as a macro. I myself am not 18 ok, im younger than 15 and ive had my fill of wrong accusations and rages.
For goodness sakes the [Mod]s barely post anymore!
One of the reasons i luved this game in closed beta was becuz it had a great community where the Mods actually were helpful and socialized, whereas in other games Mods were just robots with programmed responses. Now they are so busy locking threads you dont hear from them nearly as much. All i have to say -
The only thing i blame mods for is for being quite inactive on forums. And, we can't always blame brazilians, cause they are not the only ones who cheat. Americans have got on eith the trend, and , not to be racist, but many French teams still cheat. A SURPRISING solution is to take Crossfire to the Mac where .exe can not work, so GG cheaters. But then again, Mods and Devs dont want to. I say the problem is really age. I'm 15, going on 16 the last day of august, but people have mistaken me for 17 or eveen 18. Thats probably because of my vast lexicon and maturity.

I think the problem is with the WHOLE community (including myself, I have to recognize that.), not just the BR's.
One of the biggest problems with the community is most of it are just inmature kids. The first time they join a game the first word they read is Noob or Hack I guess they think, "Hey, if he can call someone that without a real reason then I can do it too." after that happens it will just be part of their regular vocabulary. Oh and we can't forgett about the Rager's, the community needs to understand that in some momment there is going to be someone better than you. You can't be just the only person on a game that is good, I mean, this game has millions of players.
After some games some of them will notice they are not that good or just notice about the hackers, the first thing they do, Google for some hacks. "Wow I'm not that good as I thought..." or "If he can hack then why I wouldn't?".
I think if we were a most mature community we wouldn't have these problems.
Our bigg issue is they way of thinking off the community. -

True but, if the community is full of kids, then it won't last. They are not enough mature to keep a growing community, it's self-destructive.Community expands rapidly how? Picking up kids and such.
MM & TDM focused updates shows there is interest in appealing to the poorer community.
Though there is WOGL and stuff, competitive isn't totally left out. -
