Totaly agree with what you say here.Now days if hacker is baned he simply create a new account and countinue to hack and ruining game in a couple on min(the time it is requred to open a new account),but if Z8 bans his IP his mama must get him a new computer.Not so many kids can aford that.heres what I say: Screw game Guard. Screw X-Trap. The LEAST we should go for is PunkBuster, and if we want to be efficient, get Halo 3's anti-cheat. It bans your profile, it bans your XBOX serial, and it permanently bans your IP. In this case, we should get a system that perma bans your PC/Mac. -

ugghh sad kid. grow up. any who, I fully agree that MAC ban should be in order. but I think we wont see any sort of ip banning or filtering for a while because Brazilians buy ZP. don't you guys remember when suba and earlier z8 wouldn't ban people who hacked because they bought ZP. i just have a feeling that we wont be saying good bye to Br's for a long time.
and im sure all you people find it frustrating and annoying. but we can at least be respectful on the forums and get a good community together again so that the mods will listen to us again. -

my thoughts exactally! it might be helpful if they updated/upgraded the friend/ignore feature in the game, why you can't just right click on someone and add them to the ignore list I can't understand. There needs to be a way to make it easier for people to avoid players they don't want to game with for whatever reason they choose. Eventually the cheaters will be on lots of peoples list and those rooms either won't get many players or won't even have enough to start a match, and/or kick after the match finishes if they join after it starts. If there where better tools for players to keep track for our own personal reason of people we like and don't like it will give us a small feeling of control over whom we game with and hopefully make it more fun and give people better attitudes. -

I agree with that 2 make a no kick channel [laggers do not apply to this u can kick them], or choose 1 as it is... Alpha/7 it is totaly possible all we need 2 do is make a macro and repeat it 1 or 2 times every, and i do mean every, match, all who read this and agree with it i am begging 2 do so... i we allready started so u might as well join me cuz in the end we will have a "pure" channel. and if some1 comes and starts QQ ing blok his chat and thats it!!!
we can do this so pls ppl make an effort...

There are more than just Brazilians who cheat and lag. There are Americans, Chinese, Japanese, Australian, British, European, YOU NAME IT. There is someone from somewhere who cheats and lags. The problems that have arisen because of laggers/cheaters/spammers/immature people - That's not going to go away unless there is some help from the management of this game, i.e. Developers, GM's, MOD's, etc. Plain and simple. -

A forum/community should be lively and helpful, not utterly rude and should be free of infinitesimal minds. There are people who do contribute greatly, and I thank them very much for making the world that much better of a place.

Hey, host here. If anyone read my thread, they know I don't play CF. But hey, I still care, because I may play in the future... if I don't get a Mac. Once again, the problem is only in part the brazilians and the young children. The major problems is how 99.99% of the community ASSUMES too much about other players. I have had my fair share of assumptions, but I do not state them. I simply see more of a player before I make a solid decision on whether to say F11 please or not. I have been kicked from GM for having invis ***... (BHOP gen 1 or 2... i forgot) I have been kicked for wallspamming every box/wall I see to be sure. Yeah, I am an ammo waster. (I don't use M60 lol.) I have been kicked for *chamming* AKA having my cheap apple earphones in to listen for noise. They auto assume, U *** iRpdV1 (yeah, some idiot spelled it like that.) THAT IS WHERE THE CROSSFIRE COMMUNITY IS SO BAD> ASSUMPTIONS.

Hmm.. I never saw the old good community, because I joined Crossfire last summer.
I have grown up between all the BR, QQers and stuff like that.
This community where I'm a part of is good enough. Trolls/flames are just the black sheeps of the community, every community has at least a few. I don't know you, sir, but you seem kind to me, but you have to get used to it. It's not that hard to participate again. Ignore all the stupid topics/threads/trolls and see the good ones once in a while.
Reconsider it. I really think so too that the community changed in a few years, but that's not the end of the world, nor the community. There are some black sheeps more, but we shall be happy with each other. Thus posting a thread like this, is the I-don't-know-how-much-we-are-now thread. You can leave the forums too, but that would be just running away from your feelings. Get used to the trolls/flames. -

I agree. Where is the tolerance? Where is the light ingame play? Where is the fun? The only people making money out of this game are Z8 employees. The players are to have fun. ISNT THAT THE POINT OF GAMES? TO HAVE FUN? Ever since pro gaming, the whole gaming community, not only the crossfire community, has become rude and adamant. I say stuff like MLG, ESL, WOGL, and other competitive leagues are to blame. -

ok. Closed beta/start of open beta. The community was amazing.
Why? Because there was no zp items, no black market. People hate others because they have zp because they have kriss (now m12s) because they have spops and they haven't. Farmers: Farmers like adiga (clan prodigy now rawrrrr) ruined it... Now everyone hate others because they are different and they're better in different ways
if everyone was equal this community would be much better.

The trolls and flames will never leave, I agree. However, the community has the ability to silence them by ignoring them. Every time a troll or flame says something, there is a person responding, and thus sparks the *popcorn!!!* flame war. -

I agree with your statements. However, I think it could be taken one step further to the MODs and GMs. They can silent them a lot better than the community can, in a more permanent way. The management needs to get this community back under control. We can't do it by ourselves. There's no way. -

The community outnumbers the mods and gms by millions. It can be done without their help, but:
1. No matter what, it will be extremely difficult.

we are messed up because we all think that when we are losing, everyone hacks. but you are very right. people make assumptions that the GR's hack when the BL get their azez wiped.

Honestly,
I think the other issue is that in the end this game is a business to the management. They don't want to drive people away. By being the Moderators that enforce the rules every day, to every line and word, using temp and permanent bans like they should, people would leave this game. But what they don't seem to understand is: Yes at first people would leave this game and probably go play something else. But in the long-term, having a better controlled and professional community would bring in better players and a better community. It's that simple. -

thanks for the correction, which i didn't know about. I took a guess. But still, that's a ton of people. Still influential enough. The community affects the decisions of the mods.
