Z8Games has once again taken strides to improve the game and keep the people breaking our rules to a minimum.
First X-Trap has been patching numerous times. These patches for x-trap are working on some of the issues our players have been experiencing. XP64 should load the game fine at this point. And we are working with xtrap to find a solution to the mouse issues that some of our gamers are experiencing.
However this is not all we are doing. Today, we will be starting an automated detection and discipline process within our game. We have done this once before however there were holes and problems with the way we approached it. We needed more time and more technology to make this new process happen.
Unfortunately we can not go into full disclosure on what we are detecting. This would give an advantage to the hackers themselves. However we ask for your trust and understanding that we are able to detect a multitude of malicious software programs that are being used in the game. But in the interest of complete disclosure and to stop the frustration, this process is not going to stop every malicious program 100% of the time. So please don't run around and make a bunch of threads with "there's still a hacker in the game". This process is ongoing and always evolving. So lets keep that in mind before the raging ensues.
We should also include that this auto-detection and auto-discipline process holds no reservations on the type of user. Whether the user is the highest level, or has the most ZP items. Or is an alternate account, or whatever the case may be. If you break our rules, action will be taken against you.
The discipline process will also remain private. Mostly because over time this process will change. We will be starting with a set 'period of time' ban for the account. As we move forward repeat accounts will be met with harsher punishment. We can also tell you that this first step is going to affect a lot of people. Which is disappointing for us, but necessary to make sure that everyone who hacks this game understands that we can detect it, and take action against you. We take this situation very seriously and are not stopping until we're satisfied.
We log every action that happens on a players accounts. So repeat offenders are just as easy for us to find as the hacks themselves. So you have been warned (again).
This process is also happening in addition to our regular hack checking and banning process.
We understand that to some, the punishment may seem like we aren't doing enough to people breaking the rules. To respond to that, Z8Games would like to make everyone aware that we are working with the tools we have to create this automated process. We want to change the mentality of the people hacking in our game. To one where if you hack you can't get away with it. And as mentioned, over time, the process will change and modify as it gets better, less hackers appear and the game cleans itself up.
We hope that you see the work that we're doing and that this next major step taken will help turn the game into a much more enjoyable place to play.

I like the current idea of ensuring hackers will face consequences when violating the rules, though to innovate this idea, can't you guys trust us by setting up a "report hacker" ingame and report by summarizing what happen and saving the replay? (Got this idea from Chinese CF)

We'd need dozens of staff in-game 24/7 for it to be efficient, to monitor every report 'live'.
Our report system is much more well-structured and efficient. -
Not that it in any way relates to what was announced in this thread.
If your reports haven't resulted in bans then the person didn't hack, you didn't report using the new system or you somehow managed to mess that up.
Not to mention we're already seeing the effects of this on every Crossfire-related page, good or bad.
Hackers being banned and crying about it everywhere.
lol no i did use the new system they did hack clearly... if u cant tell when someone 1 shot kills a mutant then you are blind
second of all you never even replied period!!! just said replied and there was no reply and it was just closed...
3rd and fore most i sent a support ticket on my alt account about my third permanent axe i had exchanged coupons for i actually sent two because you never replied to the first one!!!
and i still dont have my third axe....
all you do is ignore peoples support tickets and make new gay content that sucks and fail to fix any issues at hand ie: corner glitching/hacking etc etc
so when you so called moderators decide to pull your heads outta your asses
i might concider comming back to this so called game.... -

Can you please add single kick vote system 4 the room owner or at least add that option in room setup, like the rest of the room settings ?
And can you please close down Clan's who has more than 5 hacking members or clans promoting hacking tools 4 money?

Awesome Hope It Works though.. Over all Sounds promising...1 other thing umm i got this glitch like 2 months ago and it said Hack detected exited back out of the game and let me log in again. What Will happen if the glitch happens to me again??? And idk what the glitch was.

why most of the people in this thread throw hands in the air going "thank you for the hard work" or "keep it up like this" ?
this is hard to understand for me, what is the situation right now? is very risible to see people saying keep it up...
since when we feel secure from hackers? speed hack is just too obvious, but wallers and autoaim has been around forever
and how many of us have given up to send reports anymore?
z8 might as well sell the hacks for this game, considering the tolerance for people who use them; this is the first thread I see about hackers, I remember starting one when I got desperate seeing my reports not even being downloaded from megaupload... so I posted it on forum to be discussed, and I remember my thread being DELETED in less than an hour after, by a moderator; so yeah, TY for the good work, keep it up...

at some point someone said, regarding the "ban Brazil" option, that bombing Africa was not a solution for the hunger in that continent... reasonable, isn't it? not for the guy who replied him to learn his history, because were 2 bombs not 1 (whatever he meant bringing the end of wow II in discussion), so for this guy problem was: "bombing Africa wont solve hunger? send 2 bombs!!" that really made my day -
this temporaly ban is great cuz give a chance to that player to get the right way >!! i think that if some 1 used hack and he was banned ! not from 1st time to be banned permanenlty ! let him a 2nd chance and if you find him hack again than ban him .!!!
cuz i had an acc ,,who fk know maybe my little brother played with him and with hack or something cuz my acc is banned for 7 days so im glad that not for permanent cuz i worked 1 year to gradeuate to almose 1st leautenant ! and i put a lot of zp . So this 1 week ban i think that is good. ! thx GM for this new Automatical Ban cuz i thought that crossfire goes off. Cuz in all room where i was almoste all the time it was some speed hakers,expatialy on the FFA mod and MM mod .!! ty again . -
ur still goin to see hackers around.. remember everyone can make a new account and just hack crazyly on their new acc until they get banned.
this is not BLOCKING the hacks IT IS JUST BANNING the people dat is running a 3rd party program, so u r goin to see some hacks around, just give it time and everything will work out
