Z8Games has once again taken strides to improve the game and keep the people breaking our rules to a minimum.
First X-Trap has been patching numerous times. These patches for x-trap are working on some of the issues our players have been experiencing. XP64 should load the game fine at this point. And we are working with xtrap to find a solution to the mouse issues that some of our gamers are experiencing.
However this is not all we are doing. Today, we will be starting an automated detection and discipline process within our game. We have done this once before however there were holes and problems with the way we approached it. We needed more time and more technology to make this new process happen.
Unfortunately we can not go into full disclosure on what we are detecting. This would give an advantage to the hackers themselves. However we ask for your trust and understanding that we are able to detect a multitude of malicious software programs that are being used in the game. But in the interest of complete disclosure and to stop the frustration, this process is not going to stop every malicious program 100% of the time. So please don't run around and make a bunch of threads with "there's still a hacker in the game". This process is ongoing and always evolving. So lets keep that in mind before the raging ensues.
We should also include that this auto-detection and auto-discipline process holds no reservations on the type of user. Whether the user is the highest level, or has the most ZP items. Or is an alternate account, or whatever the case may be. If you break our rules, action will be taken against you.
The discipline process will also remain private. Mostly because over time this process will change. We will be starting with a set 'period of time' ban for the account. As we move forward repeat accounts will be met with harsher punishment. We can also tell you that this first step is going to affect a lot of people. Which is disappointing for us, but necessary to make sure that everyone who hacks this game understands that we can detect it, and take action against you. We take this situation very seriously and are not stopping until we're satisfied.
We log every action that happens on a players accounts. So repeat offenders are just as easy for us to find as the hacks themselves. So you have been warned (again).
This process is also happening in addition to our regular hack checking and banning process.
We understand that to some, the punishment may seem like we aren't doing enough to people breaking the rules. To respond to that, Z8Games would like to make everyone aware that we are working with the tools we have to create this automated process. We want to change the mentality of the people hacking in our game. To one where if you hack you can't get away with it. And as mentioned, over time, the process will change and modify as it gets better, less hackers appear and the game cleans itself up.
We hope that you see the work that we're doing and that this next major step taken will help turn the game into a much more enjoyable place to play.
Wish I could believe in single word on this post. It's so in the blue...just try playing a game, there are more hackers then legit players on every single room over MONTHS! if there isn't any hack then I am getting kicked few minutes later cuz everybody is paranoid about hacks and they think pro players hack too, either way with hack or without hack I am not getting exp and no point to play CF anymore...
Just because u don't do anything, everyone knows that xcrap can't prevent anything, u should have been patched the game already, and keep patching it all the time cuz honestly this game won't be playable unless if u guys don't get a better anti hack tool.
even spops and stars hacking with zp guns which I've never seen that much before in two years, maybe they get courage, cuz honestly I still see the hackers that I've reported a month ago, and stopped reporting, I don't get any notifications about my reports and they aren't getting banned anyways.
if u keep letting unlimited account registration per player u can't preventing hack or banning won't be enough and there will be always trouble...
just an example, I spotted a hacker can't remember the name something like
headshot1.1 voted him he got kicked out, 20 seconds later headshot1.2 joined the game and keep it messed, my clan mate voted him he kicked out guess what happened 10 secs later ? headshot1.3 arrived and hacked more...and we don't had anymore vote limits...

The time it takes to personally respond to every hack report would make the people banning hackers work inefficiently. No one wants that. There are a number of reports in the system, we apologize that your reported player from a moment ago hasn't been looked at yet. There is a queue for a reason.
The system, as stated numerous times in the thread and in the OP does not STOP hacks at this time. It punishes people for using them.
The game has not stopped it's average once-per-month patching and updating. There is generally no reason to believe any different. And in the last update we eliminated a lot of hack types.
Xtrap has updated numerous times over the course of the last week. And will likely continue to do so as anti hack measures remains a number one priority.

So here i explain my feelings my account have been banned(same time with my friend [kz. ) so I think that some guys report me(TAL78) and my friend ([kz. ) becuz we are playing everytime together with team speak,we are pro player we have played wogl together,we are actually in esl we play everytime with anti cheat we have never been banned from any tournament,we dont even try to use any hack on any other account.we have more than 19 years ,we are not kids ,Lots of people know us all other the world(we play in lot of different server)i will open a post in z8games forum if you dont check again all files they send you to report us.Its a shame vip hacker are running all over this game and u banned pro player like us.all the europeen community know us , and we dont want to tell to all these pro player how your "report review team" make such error by banning some fear player...you can test us everytime with equality "on"

well...all I am trying to mention is, yes I am aware of the updates pretty close including xtraps and latest game patch as well (katana patch), but even tho updates speed hacking and auto aiming is out there over a month or so, and it's like a disease...they are getting used by %50 of maps that I've played recently, that means it fails.In a situation like this one, if I was the owner of CF I would try to fix it asap when those hacks used by a lot of players, by meaning of fixing it; patch the game urgently instead of waiting xtrap to do that or don't wait the next month patch.Because this is a massive multiplayer online game, there shouldn't be that much hacking over a month(s), CF is fun and relaxing object for me, killing over 100 ppl on a tdm room normally with a good K/D ratio, it's down to 1.8's cuz of hacks and all I am getting is stress, this shouldn't be on a MMO game for that long time, I've invited many IRL m8's to CF but they aren't playing often just because hacking issues, or they don't want to buy ZP, they are telling me that we know how u get stressed all the time, u are getting whole experience plus items and most of the time they are getting wasted with hack issues (cuz when I see few hackers I just log out...), u are paying out every month then u complain about game all the time, so I can't blame them, if I wasn't that high ranked on this game I would quit or play like 30 minutes for whole week like they do.
U may think I am trolling on forums or being so negative about it but believe me we have the same goal in common, and I am into this game for so long.
Trying to play on UK servers but honestly it's not easy to find a room without hacks including clan server, all I can do is inviting ppl that I know for a long time and play together with em, not to get kicked and to be sure if opposite team have a hacker I know that he/she will be get voted by 3-4 players that I know, dunno CF shouldn't be like this, I can do the same thing on any network game. All we want is clean community without any hacking issues...at least for a while
hope the system that u mention about works good and Admins,Mods,Legit players can have a breath, I remember the patch around 06-27-2010, it was the best of ever there weren't any hack that I've spotted for 1-2 months -
Thank you for this change. I have noticed a lot less cheaters (I will not give them credit they do not deserve by calling them hackers) since the change. I have also noticed the few times I have been in with a cheater the room usually kicks them quickly. The number if people calling false "hack" unfortunately have not gone down.
I would like to see a change made in the report system to make it easier. Most times by the time I think of it I do not have the required print screen or saved game. I gave up doing reports after a few as it took too much effort to report someone only to see them again in the game hacking still a month later. -
This sounds like Z8 is taking this problem very serious and I for one appreciate it. I have been playing less and less lately because it is rare that I get in a game that is not filled with speeders or aimbots. I hope the new process includes IP mapping to prevent the same people from just making a new account and doing it again. I know there are ways around that as well but at least its a step in the right direction. One suggestion though, Why cant we kick people during a free for all match ? that is where the majority is taking place. I hate quitting a match for any reason but especially because it's full of cheaters..

Ban IP ? I never heard about that when it is comes for z8games... account is account...Peoples just use speed hack on alt to get ****ed some peoples, but their main account are clean .

Anyway, I'm a bit scared of the non legits bans.
My leader got banned for hacking kinda 1 month ago'. He first got his acc' blocked, after permanently banned.
He didn't damn even hacked.
He finally got back his account after discussions etc' with the support (or something like that).
In my clan, almost all of us are calleds "hackers" and we get kickeds lot and lot of times (20+ times for 2-3 hours happens pretty often).
Then I'm scared to be banned for nothing, cuz I never used, I usent and I'll never using hack on Cross Fire. I also spent $200+ for ZPs and I'll not be stupid enough for losing my acc' (I like it, no were only with $$$) for "lolplaying" (if I can say "playing" . .). On my main or others accs of course.
Eh', I mean, I'm just scared of non legits bans, cuz sometimes I play like a bot, or with my headphones in GM when I kill ghosts it looks as I was using wallhack. Then it's scary to playing pro' and think about the guys that says they're reporting me can make me ban cuz it looks as I was hacking.
Well, you understood me. Or not, but a bit. Maybe.
