With the list of items you gave me for a computer would this processor be better http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103871
if i used it with this motherboard http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131626
instead of using this processor http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103706
Excellent Price for a Quad-Core CPU. -
I have never used any steelseries mice, and i have no plan about them.
Which one would be a good "AWPer" mouse?
considering most of the "AWPers" who were successful in the profession point of view used steelseries, I'd suggest
small hands (claw griping the mouse)
Steelseries Kinzu
ergonomic steelseries mouse
Steelseries Xai
i use the kinzu and i am pretty sure it's has served me well so far. thing is really easy to glide and is the perfect size for complete control. -
what i put together so far

erm, get this for case and PSU
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.480370
much more future proof (crossfire/OC)
also, how much you gonna spend? -
Hard Drive: Isnt it $5 for another 500GB?
Agree with Muntza about the PSU, mainly as 430W aint alot at all. Might question the motherboard choice though. Mainly as if you ever get a proper soundcard you could be in for some fun. Have you looked at the ATX alternatives?
Other than that my only comment would be, why AMD? -
I'm spending 550 max all together not including the OS.
edit: also what would be a better motherboard around the same price
i say pay another 50 for this:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131402&cm_re=asus_evo-_-13-131-402-_-Product
a $60 mobo aint gonna cut it later on -
Theres no software-guru thread so i'll just steal this one.
I'm getting a maximum of 5MB/s on my 100 mbit connection. Spread out if divided amongst several torrents.
Why can't I max it?
don't you work for an isp?
because your service is probably throttling it. -

Thoughts? And specifically, will the psu take it?
Not going for stunning performance here, which is why I didn't pick amazing stuff.
Some input on the gfx would be appreciated though, as I know f--- all about gfx cards and am probably getting robbed on it.
Not going to do or play anything high-end on it. Might not even get a new one as the one I have is fairly new. -

the corsair will be sufficient enough for that build.
5770 is good. but if you are more of a casual gamer i would suggest saving money and getting the 5670.
solid state drive, 4GB ddr3, quad core; looks solid.
what card do you have at the moment? -
Was looking through some steelseries mice, and pretty sure Xai is the best...which unfortunately is out of stock and costs 80 euro, which is too much in my opinion.
So, the option now is between Steelseries Kinzu and Logitech MX518
Both about the same price, but which one is better? -

Go to a store and try them out. Got an Ikari, now its collecting dust and I'm back to my MX518 as the SS was way too light.TASTYLIMEE wrote: »the corsair will be sufficient enough for that build.

XFX GeForce 9400GT 550M 1GB PhysX CUDA
I'm kind of opposed spending more then 200 bucks on a graphics card since the most demanding game I play is like source.
With the hope of nerds with money reading this thread: Anyone got the new Razer headset yet? Orca or whatever. I need a headset with a 3,5 jack for my laptop. -
