Well, the event wasn't actually difficult, so no it wasn't waisted since you could win a perm weapon. But they didn't tell us that they would chose randomly, that's the most shameful part of CF.

Did you guys really think CF would give every player that had played 10 days and made a wish??? Cmon, you're smarter than this...this would be way too much for CF.
Not everyone can get their lovely weapon just by making a wish, so there had to be just a few...so 10 lucky players.
But then again, do they choose randomly or based on the description players have left?

Dude, take it easy, it's Christmas break for everyone and for sure it won't hurt us (players) to have to wait a couple extra days to have the results of a giveaway, you know. -
For an event where all you had to do was play 30 min on 10 different days people sure are salty...
Come on guys seriously, it's 30 friggin min on 10 days and lets be honest here, you would have done that anyways since you probably play the game if you check the forum... be happy they didn't make you play 15 hours of HMX or get 1000 kills on some gamemode or something like that
It wasn't a hard task they gave us, you didn't have to do it no one forced you, so chill... The only difference between these 10 days and any other "10 days" is a weapon. A weapon which I can bet most people are still gonna be able to get one way or another after this event is finished.
For those Who wished for a weapon which has been removed and never seen the light of day again it probably sucks a bit more than for someone who wished for a barret obsidian... sure it's a lot of money getting that sniper but I don't think it's going anywhere for a long time, it will still be in the shop after the event is over unlike, lets say, M37 Stakeout, and by that I mean the vanilla, og, slow reload and no slug M37.
Who cares if you win or not, they didn't specifically call out some people who will win at the start of all this so chill with the "you wont pick me crap event" - "Only 10 winners omg bad event hurr di durr" comments
Let the 10 lucky guys be happy, for everyone else it continues like normal... which it still basically does for the winners as well.

But then again, the whole point is that CF never said that there would be 10 winners. So everyone thought, nice this is my chance to win, lets say, my dream weapon. But when they saw that It was only 10 they got devastated and dissapointed.

why are so many people complaining? all you had to do is login for 10 days and play for a bit to get a chance at a free perm gun....
They are only giving them to their friends, and they baited thousands of people to play their game. Very smart strategy. Z8 is one of the smartest companies out there. But they will get what they deserve. -
Only 10 people who get their wishes for any motive they deserve and we do not deserve it and I play every day also my wishes and the first and last time ask for something from the game ... and I sent a message many times that I earn weapons boxes but do not win weapons please take care of this subject ????????????!!!!!!!!!! SMHAK

Not true. I'm not friends with any GM or mod and I was one of the 10 winners.probably just picked the 10 who spent the most money zzz...
Not true either. I've only spent like 5 bucks this month, though the chances were pretty low as you can imagine. -

It is unfortunate that not only you don't seem to understand the nature of this event, but you are also making some negative assumptions. The event was not about how old the account is or how much ZP it spent, players submitted a weapon of their choice and a message, and that what counted. If for some reason you believe that out of tens of thousands of wishes you must've been selected, then these types of events are definitely not for you.
