    Ok guys , I found one 450$ T6400 , 9300GS , 4GB RAM , VISTA HOME .

    TEll me this is one is good or not before I can buy this one
    it is 14.1 inch , I am afraid if this one can play in CENTER screen . U know wat iam talking about , Like i got 15.4 compaq rightnow , and I switch to center so when i play this game , i got center screen 1024/800. I like it better when it is center , I hate full screen in laptop

    So not sure if 14.1 can make the screen to center .

    yea umm AMD Radeon HD3200 here is the link to my exact laptop for $500...review it lol idk if it was good deal :o

  • If you're trying to build a computer for crossfire, you shouldn't worry too much about the GPU (Although it doesn't hurt). I've noticed a slight FPS drop after upgrading my card. I would assume your FPS is based around your processor speed + RAM.

    You guys can tell what kind of laptop or desktop have and your FPS . As well as your video card .

    Don't be ashamed or lying of telling your video card , I am taking your fact to determine my laptop . I am looking for a laptop with decent video card to play this game . Hopefully a decent price with AROUND 40 TO 60 FPS all the time in 16 people room .

    Right Now I have one in my eye with 4gb ram T6400 , Nvidia 9300GS , Vista. OR HP AMD TURION X2-78 Radeon 3200

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Also some cheaper one . AMD TURION X2 60 OR 78 , WITH NVIDIA 7150 .
    Another one , DUO CORE 2 T5750 , X3100 340 MB OR GMA 4500HD
    What do you guys think , btw this one I am looking is very good price So hopefully this laptop will bring me 40-60 FPS in 16 people room .
    My suggestion would be to go with something that has discrete graphics card (9300GS shud do jst fine) and intel core2duo processor. Sony VIAO is what I would recommend.
    I have AMD Turion X2 Rm70 with ATI 3100 GPU and it runs as hot as 104 degree. NOT recommended. FPS on my laptop jumps between 5-25fps.
    Therefore I have to play this game on my 5yrs old PC with AMD Sempron and GFX 5200 graphics card. Now it gives me around 30fps with all 16 ppl in a room. Please note that both the GPU and processor are overclocked, and I run on the lowest settings possible.
  • lolwat?
    You assumed wrong, games rely on GPU over anything else. Video card is of course the most important, this is because games mostly rely on high end visuals and it is impossible to render those well without a video card.
    That's just an example tho, I'd like to see you play any game with a bad graphic card.
    What kind of high-end visuals does crossfire have that need a strong GPU to process?
    Huh, considering people said that an 8400GS could take CF up to 100+, then this one would be at least 200+ if I turn vsync off.
    but yes this game has worst video engine ever. with my setting I can play Crysis High setting with this same FPS average
    I read some of comments and I don't know how some of these people have near same FPS as me when I see their spec. either they're lying or they're not telling average FPS with 16 people in it(though my vsync IS on so maybe I should turn them off)
    alienware cheap? what? theyre like the most expensive laptop ever lol...or so i seem to notice when i gaze longingly at them from the internet xD
  • If you replaced the word RAM with every time you used the word CPU, it would still only be mildly correct. There are games that rarely utilize the GPU and remain extremely reliant on the CPU and RAM (ex. Ace online). I never said a GPU was not necessary for crossfire, I just said don't worry too much about it as the processor is what your FPS in crossfire is based off of. I am willing to bet that you will see much better increase in your frames per second if you upgraded your CPU instead of the your GPU for crossfire (Assuming you're already running a card that is not integrated to the mobo).
