You guys can tell what kind of laptop or desktop have and your FPS . As well as your video card .
Don't be ashamed or lying of telling your video card , I am taking your fact to determine my laptop . I am looking for a laptop with decent video card to play this game . Hopefully a decent price with AROUND 40 TO 60 FPS all the time in 16 people room .
Right Now I have one in my eye with 4gb ram T6400 , Nvidia 9300GS , Vista. OR HP AMD TURION X2-78 Radeon 3200

Also some cheaper one . AMD TURION X2 60 OR 78 , WITH NVIDIA 7150 .

that laptop will do more than 40-60!! depending on your ping of course.
mine is a dell vostro(forgot the model) laptop,1gb ram and a intel chipset of 256mb.i get 40 fps in a 1v1 and anything higher gets me 16-22 fps and thats with everyting low settings on my laptop and the game and with gamebooster.
ps...its a vista so its slower. -

i get like 40-50+ fps at all times. umm its a gateway laptop NV52 series, 4GB RAM, 320 Gig HDD, AMD athlon 2.1 Ghz dual-core...umm...video card is like Radeon HD 3200 i think. damn i cant remember but i think thats it. idk what else to put i forgot soemthing i think though lol >.<

google the laptop "gateway NV52 series" if you want confirmation of the video card. and i'll take a screenshot of me playing if you want proof of my fps lol, i play 8v8 like all the time so yea all the time...i don't really have a motive to lie so believe or don't believe. i like it. plays CF perfectly. -

Just to note, your cpu will bottleneck your fps more then the video card. You should be fine with any modern laptop gpu, but a cpu around 2.4-2.6 ghz will ensure a 60+ on your frames per second.
This is simply because CF is not really configured to take advantage of dual cores, so it kinda needs the extra cpu beef. -

And on a side note, if you are going with nvidia, make sure that you get a (insert series here)500+, as they are meant for gaming more. Below that isn't a good choice for gaming. -

So the T6400 2.0 GHZ 4GB RAM WITH 9300 GS will not get me to 40-60 FPS ? -

The card isn't meant for higher performance gaming, albeit crossfire isn't exactly that graphically intense. I'm just saying that you should look into getting at least a 500.

umm not quite 40. i see it go over 40 sometimes but u might want to bank on getting around 35 most games srry i didnt notice that lol. seeing as that was i think 6v6. and 8v8 might be lower. if you are gonna be playing more graphic intense games go for another one. but if it's just for CF or some other low graphic games this will work
AND P.S. EXPECT 100 PING WHEREEVER YOU GO!!! in west coast it is 40 but everywhere else it is always 100-104. no less no more. very consistent and 100 is good enough for me btw. idk what ping u want but i get 100 every game lol

My DESKTOP specs
intel Q6600 quadcore. 3.0ghz OC
2gb ram
250GB HDD
8600gt nvidia geforce
windows xp home.
i get around 100-140fps in small rooms.
I get around 80-100fps in a room of 10ish.
I get anywhere from 50+ fps in a room of 16ish.
whats your budget on your graphics card? we can help you figure out a good build with your budget if you tell us. -
If those are the only 2 card options you have, get the nvidia 9300 GS, it blows the ATI radeon 3200 away.
yea definitely nVidia will usually beat ATI heads up lol...depends on what u can afford. my laptop is mostly for school and gaming on the side

yeah what is ur graphic card ? I been looking for a decent cheap one with 50 FPS , that is good for me since I am PRO . I play 20 FPS and I can still killing easy as hell -
Ok guys , I found one 450$ T6400 , 9300GS , 4GB RAM , VISTA HOME .
TEll me this is one is good or not before I can buy this one
it is 14.1 inch , I am afraid if this one can play in CENTER screen . U know wat iam talking about , Like i got 15.4 compaq rightnow , and I switch to center so when i play this game , i got center screen 1024/800. I like it better when it is center , I hate full screen in laptop
So not sure if 14.1 can make the screen to center .
