none of those are even remotely good games.

counter strike 1.6 and Counter strike: source are actual decent fps games.

Saiden, I do have a concern to which version we will play in the finals. The translators wont matter, as in the Japanese version, not sure about the others, they have the old Black Widow, where you can still spam all the wood. (Much better version).

Also other guns, rules.. like in Chinese version tournaments we see spops, and armor, and no rules present. Here we do.

    We Gats E Few Problems.

WOGL CROSS FIRE-PRO IS ONLY QUALIFYING. As in ALL competitive gaming trials the rules and stipulations are subject to change, varying for each level of play. I'm certain the rules for weaponry and characters will open up widely.
No information has been released regarding the WEM. NA & UK are the first of continents qualifying. Chances are, we won't receive any news regarding the stipulations of play until August. This is the FIRST YEAR of WEM. EVERYONE is in the same frame when it comes to being in the dark, but in this the NA/UK community get a jump start on the news before ANYONE ELSE.
Right now...just worry about getting to that far. It's a long road, and many months away...

You'll have a day of practice on their server to get used to all maps, and game play...

do we have to pay to try to win some ****ing money on this game!
it makes no sense at all!
am i the only one that sees how to stupid that is?

Typically, in an event such as this...registration comes with a fee. Welcome to the world of e-sports...Event pots don't appear from thin air.
  • So wait, let me get this right.

    Z8games is sponsering the winner.

WOGL limits the weapons that will be used in the WEM.

WOGL has banned several people who don't hack, and has actually even killed top teams because of it. I see too much power in WOGL admins that aren't even professional. All it takes is someone ****ing them off and they will say "he had a file named chams, so he's banned. (Don't make me go there, all they can provide is text)"

WOGL's anticheat scanner and screenshot can also easily be bypassed by anyone with a brain too.

    Cwutididthar?
  • Btw, that's a serious post and I expect answers from Saidin and the joke of the WOGL admins. Kayne is still the only one that is known, correct?

Scanner is easily bypassed with an external hard drive.

How do u expect them to go to china with 4 people who they never met in real life ??
    hmmmmmmm

yea they dont think about crap like that man just another scam to get people to buy zp
seriously someone needs to drop the hammer and take out a law suit against this fraudulant company for real

Incorrect, ScrimSpot in fact scans all ports.

Joke? Archy...this run of bitterness is a bit much. You were in fact caught with a cheat engine, is that any real reason to go about acting like an 18yr old child? This string of nonsense has to stop somewhere.
Because I'm less known in the community, that makes me less of an official? I've been online gaming since Kayne was in pampers...and competing in gaming since 2002. I can only assure the community I'm working in a professional state of mind with experience.

WOGL is hosting the NA/UK qualifying...we as an organization don't make up the board for WEM. That's ENTIRELY Korean & Chinese.
We don't ban people for random reasons...that's an absurd statement. We can prove EVERY piece of evidence in EVERY ban. The statements in which your providing are ridiculous and false. We do apologize you can't play in the league, but no reason for the animosity towards us....your chance was blown when Scrim Spot picked up on the cheat engine.

Back to the topic at hand...
  • hahahah archy caught with cheating engine lmfao noob..... perma ban!!!
  • Can you clear up how the tourney / league is gonna go?

Like in the pre season , how does that work do you play in a bracket or in a group ?

You are not playing Other Versions players in the WOGL Pro League.

Lets keep this thread to discuss the upcoming tournament and how you're gonna make a team to kick some Life Line butt.

Even MODS do jokes nowadays.... great :D Bring it <3
  • LifeLine got a struggle against Doop's new team, weill be cool to se how this works out.

Cookie granted. Using a encrypted drive is a better idea though.

Nope, cheat engine was on a VM, even a admin agreed that "tools like that" are just fine on a VM.

Unless you are debugging how scrimspot works (Which is against WOGL rules for an admin), you have no idea. Steve keeps it all confidiental, so please, keep talking. I enjoy the entertainment.

Wogl is a joke, even to the MW2 competitive community (which I am indeed in) Kayne was brought onto the WOGL team because he begged Laura to join (sorry to bring this up). And quite frankly, he's the only CF admin that I will respect.

You have proof? That's news to me. For 1 month I was trying to get proof that I had these alleged programs, but all I've got was some text on a website. Better go fake some screenshots fast.
Back to the topic at hand...

This is ontopic, thank you. If it wasn't, I would have an angry message from Saidin.

The Pre Season for the league will involve a few matches (4 total I believe) for teams to get used to the format and also for last minute registers.

So from start to finish it will look something like this.

    Registration Until June 14th

Preseason to start Shortly After for 2 weeks

League to run all of July

Tournament to run most of August with the finals coming no later than the 29th of August.

Hopefully that sheds some light on the scheduling.

    You're approaching that.

No one is stopping you from being bitter. But if you don't want to be involved in the WOGL tournament and league then stay away from these threads.

WOGL is not a joke, and it's not a joke for us and for Cross Fire. If you prefer to play MW2 in their competitive communities then please do so. There is no need for that discussion on our boards.
  • First off I would welcome all of the players who were not a part of WOGL's CrossFire Launch event and also those players who had the opportunity to compete. G4Box and WOGL are happy to be able to bring you this type of an event and want to give you the best e-Sports experience we can. As you can tell there are a few upset players that were banned during the launch event who felt they could bypass our rules, our anti-cheat or our forum policies. These policies are in place for a reason and they are to protect legit, professional, mature players. These rules will be enforced in every event we have at WOGL. The hear say posted on how the ScrimSpot AC works is exactly that, there are 4 people who have access to this information and none of those are game admins. The CEO, COO and ScrimSpot developers are the only ones with access. So any bans that happen will come from one of us. We have evidence on every cheat that we catch that is archived. Finally I would not suggest trying any of the ideas that have been listed everyone trying in the past has been caught as well as anyone planning to do so in the future.
On to a brighter note we will be casting matches throughout this event. We are looking forward to a great event and wish all the teams competing the best of luck.

    Regards,

    -oL

glad to hear you'll be casting matches, this will make it all the more fun. Will there be a delay involved though to prevent possible ghosting?

i believe there was a delay of 3 minutes during the trio vs. lifeline exhibition match for wogl
  • Uh oh I might get to do some casting after all...

    ^^AHAHAHAHAAHHAHAAHHAHAH THATS A GOOD JOKE RIGHT THERE.^^

Archy, you're not a dumb kid, but you don't know when to stop running your mouth. You don't have a RIGHT to play WOGL or even CF. If you're not having fun playing a GAME then go somewhere else.

And Laura was only in that kind of position because I turned down the CF Director spot.

Thank you for finding the irony in that post. (In a game that barely has a competitive community, they still find WOGL a joke if anyone else couldn't catch that)
