WOGL CF Pro League plus Secret Revealed!
Last week, we announced the WOGL Pro Cross Fire League. The best of the best will be competing for the grand prize of $1,000 US. We also promised to add even more fuel to the fire. Well, here it is:
The winner of the WOGL Pro Cross Fire League will also be crowned North America/UK Champions.
What does that mean? It means they will get to send a 5-member team to compete in the International Cross Fire Competition at the World E-Sports Masters in China.
This October, they will square off for huge prizes against Cross Fire teams from around the world including China, Russia, Japan, Vietnam, the Phillipines, and Korea. Transportation and accommodations will be provided for the 5-member team.
Registration is now open, and you can get all the details here or at the WOGL site.
The bomb has been planted. Discuss.

More info and details will come as time goes on. There is a whole month to register for this one unlike a few seconds with the other tourneys. There is also no cap on teams so you don't need to worry there.
Like Saidin said most of your info will be here on the WOGL site. -

It will be EXACTLY like a LAN. Z8Games/G4Box will provide their server information for the players. So they'll faceoff with their actual accounts. -

The rules for the WEM tournament in China are still being determined.
Likely it will be played on a native version of CF. But a lot can happen between now and October. So nothing as far as the game goes for WEM is set in stone.
We will provide more information on the specifics for rules and guns etc etc for the WEM tournament when they come up. -

No, not China's Servers. They'll be playing on a custom server, as is provided in sponsored LAN's; Everyone will have equal Ping. As far as guns...we can't moderate that. Here on our end, our system of competition is different. The reason 90% of their weapons are allowed in league play are because the majority of their items are in fact GP weapons. They DO have weapon restrictions though. They've yet to announce their qualifying (China, Korea, Japan, etc...), so as it stands...we have no idea WHAT they're going to disallow for the cup.
As far as a disadvantage in weapons...there's not much of one. The weapons of choice still stand at the M4A1-Custom (and Gold), AK-47 & AWM (-Camo) in the competitive scene in Asia. There will probably be some PSG-Red Dragons, and possibly some MSG users, but all of which we have.[MOD]BlindRob wrote: »More info and details will come as time goes on. Thank you Rob. No need to go insane over registration. EVERYONE has a month to get situated...
Questions CAN be answered here, but if your inpatient...than WOGL.org is where you'll need to address everything. We'll do our ABSOLUTE BEST to clear up questions regarding our end, as quick as possible here on Z8. -Thank You
