i agree with JakL4uren those are the toys that ghosts dont wana see, u may be limited to close range but the ghosts cant get anywhere near u cuz if they do ur gona sendem flyin, only if they dont move until ur next to them but in that case u cant really escape with a rifle neither but the chanses are higher to esxape with the shotgun. thats my opinion

LOL...there is too such a thing, and there's varying degrees of difficulty to it...i'm still not very good at it, but i'm getting better little by little...
on a different topic, the spaz is NOT great than the xm shotty...whoever thinks so needs to pm me in game and find out how deadly the xm is...bwa-ha-ha-ha... -
the best gm weapon are your ears and a good pair of earphones. High gamma helps aswell.
The best gun i think is the m60 if you can use it. You barely ever need to reload it,good at short and long range,high damage. I don't like it outside gm though. If your a gm fanatic and only play gm-its a good choice. Get a colt/d-eagle to go with it because the weight of it would drive you insane!!!! -

*sighs* you have my sincere apologies...even though I don't have a high post count, i'm not a noob at this game, and i'm sick and tired of seeing all these idiot noob players trying to kick people because they don't THINK that something is possible if THEY can't do it themselves...it's begun to cloud my vision and not give people the benefit of the doubt with sarcasm...so again, my apologies for jumping on you like that...although, the pic is kinda cool, might hafta try to use it sometime on someone else...lol -

I've owned both shotguns and they're pretty even.
XM1014 is more versatile: decent in GM, and can be taken into other game modes if you rush and hop around like crazy.
Spas12 is much better in GM: the ghosts have to get close to knife/shovel/axe you to death. So the highest possible spike damage is the best option. Spas is heavier though, so it's harder to hop around and rush compared to the XM1014.
If you only use the shotgun for GM, get the SPAS.
If you plan to main with a shotgun, get the XM1014
